Lucian Bute vs Carl Froch

Mundine is rubbish, anyone knocked out by Ottke shouldn't be in a boxing ring. Froch would embaress him, Froch was a great ameteur fighter and has the power to cause anyone problems. Froch would be a nightmare for Calzaghe, i'd still pick Calzaghe to win if they ever faced but it won't be a easy night because styles make fights. Bute would come forward at every oppotunity and thats not the way to beat Froch because hes a hard hitting counter puncher. Kessler would destroy Froch however

Yes well put. Im a Froch fan. But unfortunately Kessler, Bute or Mundine would most likely stop him.

The man is a local hero to us. That tells you all you need to know about Nottingham. I know your a big SMW fan, and totally respect your opinions on Froch, but you can imagine my frustration in seeing him/hennesy hand-picking these easy fights for the past 2 years when he should have stepped it up time ago.

It makes me laugh to see him sell out our Arena to 6-8000+ people, only for it to be half empty as soon as his fight is over, yet the undercard tend to be far more exciting bouts with some great prospects which fans don't give a damn about.

Also, i've had a couple brief encounters with Froch and he is a genuinely nice guy. Always has time for a photo/autograph but doesn't like talking much.
I love how in fight-promos he comes off as an arrogant d*ck, and loves talking **** at how he could knock Calzaghe out. PROVE IT, by beating the elite of the division....then you can talk about who you wanna knock out.

Theres a crazy froch fan on this website who claims froch would beat the **** out of calzaghe or kessler. I'm surprised he hasn't voted or came on to this topic yet... That kid is crazy

Yeh Froch is going to take over the world. Why you not show the clip of the Russian who went 12 rounds with Bute. But 2 with Froch. 2 guys who have faught Kessler and Froch say Froch is far better.

Ever see that interview where Amir Khan said "Y'know what I mean?" about 700 times? Robin Reid did the same thing, I think it was after his fight with Ottke.

Anyway, I'd love to see this fight. Right now I'd say Bute.

I know some may say that Froch doesn't deserve a title shot, but surely no one can say that William Joppy deserved one? That guy is about 74, and his last 3 opponents had a combined record in their last six fights of 0-17-1.

I see nothing to suggest that Froch would be stopped against someone like Mundine. He might lose, but Froch is a hard puncher with a great chin and has never been hurt, whereas Mundine was knocked out cold by Sven '4 KOs in his entire career' Ottke. Don't get me wrong, I admire Mundine for taking that fight so early in career(rather than waiting as long as Froch has/continues to do), he had some good moments in that fight, and I think he's improved a lot since then, but with a chin like that trying to open up against a powerful counter puncher like Froch is very risky, so if he wins it'll be on points.

I'm looking forward to Froch vs Inkin, although I've never seen Inkin fight. Anyone got a prediction?
