Seen Froch a couple of times, & haven't been that impressed, even though he handled the guys he was in with relatively easily.

He's got good power, but that's his main selling point - decent skills, but tends to telegraph, hold his hands too low, not too fast, & is much too overconfident considering the actual skill level he's showing.

Could see Bute taking a pretty easy decision or late stoppage over him, as Bute does have good well-rounded skills, speed, & solid experience.

Against Calzage or Kessler don't see him close to rating a shot against either.

Froch isn't worth facing for a belt holder, unless he proves he can handle some prime talent..
i think miranda could be a nice surprise on the division. i dont know if its my head or my heart talking, but i think he will be one of the best of the division.
he already beat green, and i think he should beat andrade....a fight with mundine, bute or lacy would be great. with lacy it would be a war =P.

Not many people too keen on the cobra then...What I will say about Froch is that he may not be the smoothest boxer around but the man can punch. I think a fight with Bute would be a great fight, Froch would more than likely lose a decision but dont write him off.

i wouldn't write froch off. he kind of knows what he's doing. most of his fights a boring in the middle with a spectacular end (usually ko by uppercut).

froch's never been hurt, but then again he's never mixed in the highest class, but he'd be dangerous to the end against anyone.

personally, i don't think he should be given the chance to fight for a title until he's been in with a top ten opponent - even if he is high up in the rankings for 3 or the 4 organisations.

What is it with you Frog's trying to beat down on the Brit ?

The whole of Romania is heading towards Briton to clean our car's.

            Froch would clean Bute's clock.

He sparked Tatevosyan in 2 lop sided rounds wheras Bute faffed around for 12 rounds !!!

The B+ Bika rustled him for 12 whole rounds and now we get Berrio... a man spanked by Henry Porras in 6 rounds... (whom was starched by froch in 7 himself)

Bute has no power at all. He is a lanky, skinny joke shop who will get exposed was his feet and jab tire mid way.

Froch would absolutely destroy the kid so bad it wouldnt be funny...

And Mundine??? LOL LOL - the guy who claimed "Beyer hits like a girl and only has 3 KO's" ..... only to be KO'd by him !!! funny as f**k.

After those lame comments im thinking you haven't seen either fighter fight and your having a complete guess to get your post counts up? Froch is a good domestic fighter. Bute is a world class fighter. And secondly Mundine has never fought Beyer, so stop guessing. Do some research on boxrec and then reply to others.

                  Mundine never fought Beyer.
When Froch picks up his opponents, never have they been close enough to their prime, to really be of any danger. Look at Porras record and age at the time he faced him. Berrio lost a fight to him 6 years ago when he was undefeated.
Froch fought Tatevosyan, a "never to be" fighter, who prior to that was put away by Bute.
When in a close race for the secondary positions in the smw rankings feeding of the remains of Bute's plunder, is kind of a statement from Froch - He is a level below. And he stays there, no matter how many bags age old Reid is sent home in.

Mundine would be a handful for Froch. He's fast and still alive.

Froch sucks and he only looks for a ko. Bute wins rounds and if the ko is there, he will go for it.

Ive seen quite a few Froch fights and this isnt a bad post at all.

He has talent, good skills and power but he gets very lazy, takes too many shots and takes a round or 2 off at times, he wouldnt be able to do that against Bute.

A good measuring stick is his performance against Brian Magee.

It was a war and a great fight to watch but would a future leader of the division have so many problems with a fighter like Magee. He was at a good standard at the time but nowhere near world class.
