Alot of people tend to do things and say things because of hear-say. They HEAR Gatti-Ward is one of the greatest fight ever and they tend to expect to much when they actually get a chance to watch it. Thus it becomes overrated due to their own expectations.

The gatti ward trilogy is hands down the best fights Ive ever seen, And you cant question what ive seen. I have a collection of over 5000 fights. Yes their are great fights but gatti ward 1 and 3 are imo the great back and forth action you'll ever see.

I'd prefer Corrales-Castillo's ten to any set of ten in the Gatti-Ward trilogy. Dramatic fight between two WELL-SCHOOLED fighters who could both ****, one who had a delicate chin, the other who didn't. And the one that had the better chin, ends up getting knocked out, in the same round that he knocks down the other guy, twice. Amazing. Not to mention that the 9 rounds before that were viscious.. just viscious.

Gatti v Ward is 1 of the best ever along with MAB v Morales 1 ,i liked the Castillo v Corrales fight but it was'nt as entertaining with Steve Albert calling the action although Al berstein is compulsive listening he knows his Boxing, on the whole i liked Castillo v Chico fight cause it had drama but it did'nt have the competitive edge to it that MAB v Moraels 1 did that was punch for punch start to end
