    After Hatton Destroys Floyd.....

    Who does he fight next?
He will have beaten the best fighter on the planet (Apparently) so where do you go from there?
I mean what else would he need to achieve?
His spot in the HOF would be gurenteed after beating the greatest fighter that ever lived too.

I am going to take all your points, so keep posting to make the pot sweeter my friend. If Hatton were to defeat FMJ the obvious choice for him to make is an enormous payday against ODLH in Manchester.

Hopefully no-one takes this seriously with regards to Hatton beating the greatest ever.......
This thread was just to counter that pile of **** Sonofisis posted.
            Presumptious and ridiculous.

              Moofo,

You can't have it both ways.

              1) Claim TODAY that Floyd is overrated and should not be p4p #1. You say that Floyd is not a great fighter. Not one of the greats of this era or an ATG.

              2) Then claim on December 9th that Hatton beat a great fighter and that win guarantees his HoF legacy. Claim that hatton now deserves P4P #1 because he beat FMJ.

You can't have it BOTH ways. So, either Floyd is a great fighter and P4p #1, and Ricky's win will be awesome. Or Floyd is overrated and a media creation and Ricky's win will be good, but nothing particularly special.

he 1st has to beat him, thats something that bigger, stronger and more skillfully able men were not able to do, I'm not taking nothing away from Ricky Hatton because I have the utmost respect for him, he's a true gentleman and a role model to all his people in Manchester so in no way do I intend any disrespect BUT Floyd on paper is the better bet to win, it's not so much the opponents but more so about their styles, this is the classic Boxer VS Puncher kind of fight and the boxer here happens to be bigger, faster, more skilled and better tested.. I repeat I don't count Ricky completely out because I know he's dangerous and you can NEVER count a puncher out but Floyd possess's the tools to dance circles around Hatton, it boils down to in ring ability and Floyd has more to show when it comes to that.. 100
