Why do you consider kball the "regular" fan?

I put Kball in b/c he’s always complaining about how Klitschko is so boring. I thought that if Klitschko turned out an entertaining fight against someone like Chagaev, it would appeal to the regular boxing fan like Kball…I think Kball is a good representation of the boxing demographic in the U.S.; I could be wrong though…

I'm gonna make this point. Klit fought Peter and Peter landed quite a few shots in the early rounds and knocked Klit down twice, didn't land much after that, he threw like 10 punches or something a round. Klit won that cuz Peter ran out of gas, then fights Byrd and killed him, no question got the IBF title. Now he fights Brock, Brock lands some stuff but nothing much and gets knocked out. Fights Austin and Austin can't hit him at all, ain't much of a fighter. Fights Brewster and just like the Austin/Peter/Brock fights he doesn't land much. So is this because of Klit's great superb defense or is it cuz the fighters he fights aren't all that good?

Well, taking into account the records of these fighters(and I don't mean just numbers, I mean how they beat their opposition) it looks like Wlad's defense is pretty darn good.

his improved defense is largely because of his improved jab. its long,,,jarring and he throws it often enough to keep opponents at bay

I agree with you 100%. I think he won his last 2 fights with his jab only.

Doestn't like to fight too much? Are you kidding me, Wlad is 31 and has 52 professional fights, how many other current, or recent, heavyweights can you say that about?

bostonguy i think that even the casual boxing fan knows that wlad is the king of the clowns in the hvwt division circus.
wlad will have his hands full with an in shape chagaev .
chagaev can move. if he picks and sticks to the right gameplan he's going to rule.
