HBO can't pay him anymore this year so he will fight early next year. Theres talks about a unification fight with Chagaev or Ibragamov. Also Calvin Brock and Chris Byrd are participating in a title eliminator competition as well to determine the number one contender for Wlads belt. Thats what I read.

Ibragimov's manager said that Finkel (Wlad's manager) contacted him immediately after the fight with Holyfield trying to start the talk about the unification fight but he wanted to wait and talk to Ibragimv first. Hopefully they don't wait for too long.
