Ricky Hatton is one of the best in the game on the inside.

Mayweather SUCKS on the inside. The only thing Floyd tends to do up close is get punched in the face.

(predicts someone will post the Baldomir fight)
if all he does is get punched in the face why can't anybody beat him

      Eric,

Addy thinks that Mayweather sucks on the inside, when he actually doesn't. mayweather is a skillful inside fighter - and Ricky has said as much. Hatton conceded that Floyd can fight inside, although Addy won't.

Mayweather has a very 'throwback' inside style. If you watch the Toney/Jirov fight, you will see a classic example of what Floyd does inside. Roll left, dig left to body, roll right, throw right uppercut. Square up, right to body followed by right up top.

In his past several fights, PBF was giving up 15 - 20 lbs. He wasn't gonna allow those guys to lean all over him. Gatti was in the 150s, and Baldo and Oscar are closer to 170.

But inside, Floyd is a quick-handed fighter throwing short stuff out of that shell. Ask Jesus Chavez. And you also saw it in the N'Dou fight.

Maybe at the lower weights. He is a one punch fighter at 147 and above. Unless he is fighting Sharmba Mitchell.

And he doesn't square up either.

Your reaching, Dios. Floyd occasionally, as any boxer will have to, engages inside. But he is not an inside fighter. He doesn't like to get hit. He admits that. Stick to the truth. Floyd is great on the outside and has great defense inside and outside. But, he is not an inside offensive fighter. That is readily apparent.

He is a great offensive fighter. But he has admitted in many interviews that he is the "smartest" and makes the "most money and gets hit the least".

              Inside 'fighters' get hit. Period.

-----Dios must of read this on some other message board. it's wrong.

It sounds good. It sounds articulate. But Mayweather doesn't do so. Neither does Toney. Maybe he's been playing to much Fight Night???

                      You're right.

Hatton is going to tear Floyd up inside and stop him relatively early. Floyd's legs will be sapped from the body shots, and he won't be able to move. He'll be a sitting duck.
