Put Juan Diaz on the Pound 4 Pound list!

As mentioned by many he is relentless and is only going to get better. He amazes people that have seen some of the best through out the years. I think with this win and his highly skills, Juan deserves to be on the p4p list.

Juan is gonna be a real star.

If you can throw combos like that through 8 rounds... how could u lose????

Normally id agree, but there are so many great fighters up there i wouldnt have a spot for Juan yet. I mean, i have Pavlik at #10, and he just knocked out the Middlweight Champ... Juan put on a hell-of-a performance, but it wasnt like Pavliks IMO

Im sure he'll get there soon enough though.

I'm one of his biggest fans but he does not really deserve to be P4P yet. In a few fights maybe but right now he is on the cusp but not quite there yet.

Oh and for future reference, I don't have Pavlik on there either.

I think he's somewhere in the mix at the moment. I never make a top 10 p4p list but I'd have a hard time filling it out without him.

Nah, no way. I wouldn't say he is.

          Mine would probably be:

          1. Mayweather
          2. Pacquaio
          3. Juan Manuel Maruqez
          4. Bernard Hopkins
          5. Israel Vazquez
          6. Joe Calzaghe
          7. Miguel Cotto
          8. Ricky Hatton
          9. Kelly Pavlik
          10. Rafeal Marquez/Winky Wright (Can't decide who fits here)

He'd be around 11-13, with Ivan Calderon and some other people.

The reason i would put him in is because few fighters (Arce can also punch through out a whole fight) can throw so many punchs in the 12 round as in the 1st round. And Diaz win is a solid win. Im not into p4p list nor do i know where to rank him, but his is impressive and some like Diaz should be in p4p list. Few fighters throw so many punchs as he does and Diaz does this at the top level.

He has two wins over decent opponents. Frietas was okay and the same goes for Julio.

If Pavlik is on the list... I've no idea how the **** Diaz wouldn't be.

No. he cant be. Honestly, I think his skills, physical attributes and wins are almost enough to put him on there, but look at it this way...

Joel Casamayor is still considered champion at 135. you cant have someone ranked below him be on the p4p list, while the champion isnt.
but if he can beat Casamayor impressively...you very well might see him. but thats still a very big IF. Ive heard Diaz wants to fight the last Diaz, to make him the supreme Diaz. plus more of a unified champion.
...dont see that much in champions nowadays. goin after all the other belt holders.
