And his footspeed doesn't suck either. That's just you making **** up to try and sound educated. Educate yourself about the sport.

Let's bet on Kessler - Zag too, champ.
I didn't see the jab from Juan as much as he should have and if you contest that then our ideals in the sport are just different. I'm just saying that 606 power punches out of 774 punches is not using your jab enough, especially for an in-fighter like Juan. Mike Tyson (the ultimate in-fighter) used his jab coming in a lot early in his career and that was when he was most successful so I'm just saying that it wouldn't hurt Juan to use it a little more. Against Julio he could get away with it, but up at 140 he would get eaten up on the way in against the bigger punchers. And his footspeed does SUCK, don't be such a fanboy. Just because he's a come forward fighter and doesn't really need to use his foot movement as much doesn't mean he has great footspeed. Look at the fight from all perspectives, not just against that particular fighter if you're so educated about the sport.

5k on Kess player, you want it, you got it!

And I'm not even a fan of Juan, you nut. i'm just a realist.

He threw 170 jabs. In lhow many rounds? That's pretty good for a fighter who was throwing 100 punches per round. He's an infighter and with infighters a jab doesn't always have to be a staple. Slipping or blocking the first shot is just as important. Infighters are always natural counterpunchers who always have to counter there opponents first shot. That's what Juan Diaz does except he counters with his own jab. He punches with you so it's hard to jab

He countered Julio's jab with accurate right hands though. That's probably the main reason Julio opted to fight inside to change it up. Problem was he didn't have enough power to bother Juan so the latter just opened up.

Juan's power ain't special. That's why most guys think they could stand inside with him. That's the lure. Then they just get flatout outworked and get discouraged. Reminded me some of Kassim Ouma.

Oh yeah, I agree he doesn't use his jab as often as he should. Too bad, cuz he's got a decent one too.
