      What?

      Where's the proof on this?

Last I heard Mayweather offered to pay Marquez to step aside and we never heard a peep out of Manny.

He opted for Cotto instead ; a much easier fighter to defeat than Floyd.

Get me some proof on this. I'm dying to see this authenticated.

        If?

It's a foregone conclusion to everybody who's not Puerto Rican.

Funny thread, Bringer. Pac will fight Floyd if they both win their next fights. Agreeing to terms will be difficult, but Floyd has proven to be reasonable at the negotiating table (despite all his money talk in public).

the biggest obstacle to pac vs pbf is that both dudes want the bigger slice.

I know that as much as people don't want to hear this. Once Mayweather destroys JMM, Pacquiao will have no option but to face Mayweather, only because people will be throwing that name in his face. Then Mayweather will dominate Pacquiao and have that win discredited, as always.

Of course. Coming off of the Oscar and Ricky wins people think he's a god. People will only think that even more when he destroys Quitto, like expected.

I'm actually really hoping he is the favorite so I can lay a serious amount of cash on it at the sportsbook.

I haven't been this confident of a boxing outcome since Hopkins/Trinidad, or most recently Hopkins/Pavlik.

I wonder if people will say Manny showed signs of "slippage" prior to losing to Floyd?

It'll probably be the weight though.

Even though he destroyed Oscar (who wasn't at all weight drained, mind you....), Ricky, and Miguel by the time Floyd massacres him.

I want Mayweather to be the underdog, last time Mayweather was the underdog he dominated.

winning inside the ring is different from winning on paper..
don't be fooled by cotto's struggle against clottey..
                      nobody looks good against him..
size is still a factor on this bout..

probability of PBF winning against JMM >>>>>>>>>>>>>>pac winning against cotto
