Floyd had almost 30 fights below 140. Even today, Floyd is still smaller than many JWW's.

Do you really feel he is a "natural" 140er?

I'm not sure what you meant by that last post. Just re-read my post and take it to heart. 140 will never happen. It will have to be 130 and Floyd can't make that weight anymore.

I hear ya, Dios, but I think Floyd has "grown" to 140 and no more. The rest is excess. For him to make 130 would be a spectacular acheivement IMO. Surely, you can agree that 140 is "no mas" for Pacquiao. 130 is the only possible weight for this fight.

It is shocking how easy it is to understand, yet how much guys are dis*****g.

Manny/Floyd is a FAAAAAAAR closer size matchup than Floyd/Oscar.

Why is this hard for people to understand? 144 vs 148. Seems simple enough.

Pac knocks him out, Floyd has never been in a fight with the kind of pace and style that Pacman has to offer. Pac KO7.

                No, sir.

A fight like this would transcend the established weight divisions. Much like Winky/Hopkins did. WW/Bhop happened at 170.

They can do it at 138, 140, 142, whatever.

Floyd can probably dry down to about 135 max (bottom). But why dry down that far if Manny will weigh above 140 anyway. Nahmean?

I'm not sure what you mean by "a fight like this would transcend the established weight divisions." Please explain.

Edit: I'm shocked you think Pac would be competitive at top tier at 140. I disagree.

Dios we may not always agree on Hatton and PBF, but i think we may be agreeing on something for a change. I think we would both like to see PBF and Pac get it on. If they do fight it might not be at eithers best weight. But sacrifices have to be made sometimes in life to get the ball rolling. Again, this fight can be made if both fighters want it i think.
Pacman did start at a lighter weight but he has talked about moving up hasnt he? So that is a good start. PBF is moving down to 147. He might even be prepared to go to 140. True, not 140 for hatton but for Pacman, you never know. Stranger things have happened.
