Well the poll results are staggering. 43 votes for Floyd Mayweather and 7 votes for Manny Pacquiao.
Hell, I don't blame Pac for not moving up to Welterweight. There's some actual competition up there with Cintron, Margarito, Williams, Mosley, Cotto, De La Hoya, and Mayweather. He should stick to the lower weight divisions and just wait another 3 years until Marquez is about to retire, then he can pick another Mexican legend's bones as well. After that he can retire and be the greatest fighter ever.......from the Philippines.
Of course being the greatest fighter ever from the Philippines is kinda like saying you're the coolest kid with down syndrome........Comment

Im sorry. I know I said I was done with this thread but this one I couldnt resist. Bringer and the rest of the ignorant posters.... Do yourself a favor. Go to a boxing gym and ask any trainer. Bring up the thought of this happening. You will get laughed at. Thanks Bringer for adding yourself to the other ignorant posters that think its not a HUGE thing to do with what you make sound so simple. Tell any real boxer, amateur or pro to move up 2 weight classes from where they currently box at and see what kind of response you get. You Floydboyz (gay cult Floyd fans) that think it is that simple are really ignorant of the sport and should remove yourself from this boxing site or go educate yourselves and return later when you actually know a thing or two. At 140 it would be a great fight if Pacman eventually moves up. The fight could be made but i wonder if PBF would like it? Pacman would relish the challenge i bet. Pacman is better than the guys PBF fought when PBF was in the lower weights. And that is what i use to guage how good a fight this would be.

it is sooo ****ing ****** to compare the two and to ****ing have them fight. of course floyd mayweather will ****ing win no doubt. manny is a smaller guy. manny is only like 5'5 very small guy and how big is mayweather? plus the biggest reason why mayweather will win is because he wont engage with manny. they are two different fighters. manny will attack and mayweather will run as fast as he can and put only 2 pitty patty punch when he gets a chance every round.Comment

Seriously this would be a great fight and not a lot to stop it from happening in the future if both want it. The fans want it..Fans want to see the biggest names in the sport compete. MP and PBF are the biggest names just about.
PBF would need to adjust to the speed of Pac after fighting bigger boys. Duran moved from lightweight to fight Marveloouls marvin and co. And people favoured marvin, but that the fight was actually made was not considered ridiculous. Stop overrating PBF. Let PBF prove he can win the fights without giving him the victory before a punch is thrown.Comment

Fans would like to see it, but at a proper weight for Pacquiao. He's not a natural jr. welter (140) like Floyd is. Remember, Pac started at 106. A fight at 130 would work, but Floyd could never make this weight again. Thus, sorry guys. This fight will never happen. But it's a great fantasy fight. At 130-Pac wins. At 140-Floyd wins.
