This thread shows just how much people know about boxing. 2 weight divisions is 2 weight divisions. GO to your nearest boxing gym and learn something. Im done with this thread. Thank you to those who have made it clear to me how much you really know about boxing.

What did Pac weigh on fight night? What did Floyd weigh? Nuff said. Weight divisions are a FARCE.

geez u really sound like an angry juvenile. have you ever heard of the word rehydration during fight nights? PBF ddnt have to kill himself making weight nor dehydrated to 148, it's his ****ing fighting weight. PAC only rehydrated to 144, its not all muscle and power. strategy? i said it already but you have a reading comprehension problem i guess. let pac grow into the weight normally, not thru hydration as what most of you are basing his weight from.

Question: So none of the 148 Floyd weighed was water weight? He dried out the night before and kept himself dried out for the fight?

The only time someone is pure muscle is when they dry themselves out. Comprende?

Well Cotto weights around 158-160 on fight night so why dont we just go ahead and have him fight Pavlik or Taylor. This is a ****** discussion.

I'm glad you said Pac "RE-hydrated" back to 144. You know why the "RE"?? Because Manny "DE" hydrated down to 130.

So, what is the "true" weight. His in-ring weight... or his dehydrated weight?

Because pavlik and taylor are closer to 170. And are thus SMW's. And so forth and so on.

The discussion only became ****** with your comment.

I still find it hilarious why the Pac fans can't accept the fact that Pacquiao could make Welterweight if he wanted to. The guy weighed in at 144lbs for both the last fight against Morales, and the rematch against Barrera (which was not even a week ago mind you).

Welterweight is 3lbs north of that, Pacquiao is almost 5'7", (5'6.5" really), Mayweather is 5'8". There's no huge size difference there, Mayweather has 1 inch on him and 4lbs. Yeah, Pac's really at a mega disadvantage there........

I also found it hilarious that someone said Pac wouldn't need to beat Mayweather to get to the #1 p4p spot. Last time I check "Pretty Boy" was holding that spot strong and has been for years now. After he beats Hatton he will still be #1 and Pac will always be #2.
