You will never hear me say that Penalosa has more to prove in a rematch than Gonzalez or Ponce De Leon. I think Penalosa's proven enough but if his last fight was any indication of his age effecting his ability, I don't see why he should continue to fight. Once more, for his fans and I'd call it a career. He's too nice a guy for me to see him get hurt.

i really think its going to be a sad day when you realize that without manny pacquiao on top, there are only a handful of filipino prospects and fighters that are actually worth a damn. While youre sitting here calling established fighters "jotos" you dont realize that there is not a single filipino that is an undisputed champion of any division right now and when his honeymoon ends, you will learn that a great fighter like manny pacquiao is once every generation, and we how you like it as generations change and it turns into mexicans dominating filipinos, because in my opinion, without pac, thats exactly whats likely to happen. In my opinion there are only a handful of filipino prospects who are worth a damn in comparison to mexicans, so if i were you, id be a little bit more humble, because everyones parade comes to an end.

Last time I checked man, even though, as you put it, Ponce de Leon "ran" the last four rounds, he DID get the win! And correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it Peñalosa who called out PDL for a rematch before he did to Gerry? So WHO'S the one that wants to prove something?

All I'm saying is that at this point, since PDL has been inticed to go for a rematch as well, he now has a point to prove to! People keep dissing him 'cause he boxed, through over a thousand punches and won a decision, instead of KOing Gerry! So I'd fully expect a much tougher fight for Peñalosa if a rematch happens!
