Arce was bloody mess and couldn't do jack **** against a southpaw. what makes you think he's gonna do **** against another southpaw, an aging one, but it's still a southpaw who has shown he can hang w/ the young ones, even in defeat. What has Arce done lately?

I say screw PDL and just go for Arce...If this is going to be Gerry's last fight he should go out in dominating fashion againts a great fighter... Gonzales fought on his bicycle and was rangy for Penalosa who had to reach for someone running away. PDL is young and getting better I think and too big for Gerry.. Arce is perfect. I think that would be a good fight..

Penalosa wasnt doing **** but getting hit all night up until that body shot that hurt Gonzalez who had trouble making the weight, that also was a reason why he couldnt take the punch and just stayed down.

You saying Penalosa is better then Gonzalez proves your extremely biased..No one is taking the win away fron Penalosa, but reality is that he was getting tagged all night up until that body shot. Look at the freaking punch, penalosa wasnt even targeting his hot, he just swung and bam, hits him right on the spot. Thats luck when your losing every bit of every round

Everybody knows that body shot was text book... He was aiming for the body and got a couple in before that, thats why he got that low blow call...Im not saying Penalosa is better than Jhonny... But Penalosa was at a big disadvantage with his range with Jhonny keeping his distance by constantly backing up which is fine. Just that its a funny sight to see the bigger stronger puncher boxing (backing up) with guy that did not even belong at that weight. You saying that Gerry basically just closed his eyes and threw a punch that just happened to land on a spot on the body that is very hard to hit in a boxing match, is biased. Gerry has been known for putting other opponents down with that exact same punch.
