Take a look at the punch stats and you'll see it was MAB who got outboxed big time.

MAB landed less than 20 percent overall while Pac still landed 50 percent of his power punches.

Simply put Pac kept hitting Mab while Mab was firing on airballs.

Tonights fight was a perfect example of the difference between the hearts of Morales & Barrera.

No way Morales would have cruised through the fight. I think if MAB had have exchanged more with Pac it would have been a better thing for him.

Barrera's effort reminded me of a typical disappointing DLH performance.
I'm not a MAB hater, I just think he sold him self very short.

I totally agree. I expected more of a future hall of famer.
He wasn't willing to go out with a ****.
Instead he went out with a whimper.
I have a lot more respect for Morales, who let it

Man you are a fool ! Barrera has given us some of the best fights you will ever see. Yet you discredit him by saying that. He doesn't need the money. He could probably wipe his ass with you whole families annual income. This guy has put it all on the line. He didn't have too fight PAC but he did. I'm pretty sure if he chose to fight someone else he would have made about the same amount. You are just a narrow minded son of a ***** he ain't happy unless someone dies in the ring. I disagree with what a lot of people are saying here! I thought Morales thrid fight with PAC was embarassing! It was bordering on pathetic! He was beaten to a pulp, then shook his head knowing he couldnt win!

Boxing is about more than brawling! I like Morales, dont get me wrong! He is a credit to the sport and one of the modern greats! But I prefer the likes of Barrera! He has brains! Barrera knew fine rightly that he couldnt take the fight to Manny! You can tell that Barrera also knows very well that physically he just cant do it anymore! Barrera took what he had and did his best! He tried to box, stay away from manny's left! That was the only way he stood a chance!

People are overlooking the fact that manny didnt go for barrera! he stood off the whole fight! I dont buy this BULL**** that the fight was **** because barrera was in counterpunch, retreating mode! Manny was quite content for that too happen! I think Barrera was banking on Manny coming for him! Had he done so, Barrera would have had more opportunities to counter and would probably have looked better!

But well done to Manny! He used his ****ing head for once! Him and Roach knew that Barrera could only win by counter punching, picking his shots when Manny committed himself! Manny didnt oblige leaving Barrera with no gameplan! What could he do- INITIATE EXCHANGES WITH MANNY???? THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SUICIDE!

You're not obviously. Because if you watched the fight you'd be ****** not to notice that MAB was firing airballs all night and Pac just kept dodging them

man, some of you sound as ****** as Larry Merchant. I know in all of your eyes MAB had no chance and should have just swung for the fences and gotten KO'd by Pacman but guess what......he was actually trying to win.

The biggest criticism of him in his first fight was that he brawled too much with Pac and that he allowed himself to be taken out of his game plan. This time it was about 4 years too late for him because his reflexes just didn't allow him to win this fight.

Barerra didn't go out with a wimper he just tryed to fight intelligently and take the approach that gave him the best chance to win. I know you amature fight fans just want to see a KO but a fighter actually goes in there to win, not just give you a highlight.

Every time he tryed to **** with Pac, he was just getting beat to the punch and would have eventually gotten KO'd. He fought smart with his head but his body just couldn't do what it had done so many times in the past.

what do u mean manny didnt go for barrera? that is just plain dumb. you just got used to seeing the whirlwind manny go for more punches before, and when he averages a little less than usual, which is still a lot more than others normally do, you immediately noticed it. damn, manny's output was 2.5 times more than barrera and still a lot more than what regular boxers do, heck a lot lot more than pbf does. learn to accept that manny is trying to evolve into a more complete boxer, he and roach knows his speed and power wont last.
