That isn't the point and you know it. You described people who like all out wars as "bloodthirsty" and "ignorant" and the writers for the Ring are neither. Yes, they are opinions, but they are respected opinions, and not just those of the baying crowd. Sure Floyd finds a way to win but don't suggest that he's exciting while he does it and certainly don't suggest that anyone who thinks he isn't exciting is somehow less of a boxing fan or of a lower intellect.

The clips by Addison above deserve consideration. They show how a determined inside fighter can bring down a good boxer. Not making a direct comparison, but note the eerly similiar styles between Jack Dempsey and Ricky Hatton.
