HA HA with original and witty insight like that you should go into journalism. Hatton putting on weight and becoming a professional wrestler, it's genius! I can't believe noone has come up with that before. Wow. To have such an inspired mind.

u call it running, i call it boxing. if ricky was as good as eevryone makes him out to be, then he should cut the ****ing ring off and beat on floyd, but he cant, and no one else was able to do it either. he's good at boxing, and no one can touch him cuz of it, so you call it running, cuz he doesnt like to get hit. look at his compubox numbers and see how many punches he lands.

i know i know, dont even say it, we know the de la hoya fight and baldomir fight werent "exciting" to the ignorant blood thirsty fans, but for those that enjoy watching boxing, it was a CLINIC.

          floyd runs? no, he boxes
ricky holds and hits? yea, he holds and hits...

does anyone need a more in depth analysis. PM me and i'll have some home schooling lessons done for you.

          ENJOY THE FIGHT Y'ALL!!!

I find it slightly offensive that you would consider anybody who doesn't agree with you as "ignorant" and "bloodthirsty". Fact is that when a fighter is avoiding engaging his opponent it is less exciting than when he is making an effort to mount an offense, and the vast majority of boxing fans, real boxing fans, real in-the-know experts, prefer an all-out war to a chess match every time.

Check out the Ring's fights of the year

How many chess matches do you see?

if u were 3-4 weight classes about ur natural weight, would u slug it out in a war with a guy who is way bigger and stronger than you? i wouldnt. i would be tactful and pick my shots and not get hit, which is the idea of the game. sorry if i offended you by sayin that, but most of the people that hate on floyd are upset cuz he doesnt trade in the center of the ring.

i dont see why u gave me the link for fight of the year? those are opinions, and some may agree and some may not. it has nothing to do with what i said. those fighters fight their fights, and floyd fights his. if he doesnt wanna brawl then he doesnt have to brawl. if hes smaller hes gonna stick and move and win fights. u aint in there, he is. dont be so sensitive about what i said my man. all the haters on this site call floyd fans nuthuggers and floydboyz and generalize everyone ine ONE category for no reason except that we appreciate floyd as a fighter, but are not biased towards him. so what goes around comes around my friend. no disrespect to u personally...

And, that as a result, Hatton is perfectly skilled to do the job of bringing a real fight to Floyd. Kudos to you and your stunning string of clips in this thread.
I hate to break it to you genius, but the "layman" wouldnt be watching a floyd fight in the first place, floyds style is not flashy even in the slightest, floyd is accurate and defensive and favors countering, how the **** is that appealing to the "layman".

just because you can weight drain your 5-8 72" reach down to 130 doesnt mean thats his natural weight. Floyds size is average for welterweight.

floyd never drains himself though. naturally 135 was his ideal weight. this would make sense if floyd blew up every fight, but he doesnt. a better example of weight draining to sit at an ideal weight is hatton, not floyd.

That isn't the point and you know it. You described people who like all out wars as "bloodthirsty" and "ignorant" and the writers for the Ring are neither. Yes, they are opinions, but they are respected opinions, and not just those of the baying crowd. Sure Floyd finds a way to win but don't suggest that he's exciting while he does it and certainly don't suggest that anyone who thinks he isn't exciting is somehow less of a boxing fan or of a lower intellect.
