Why does Cintron garner so much respect from people on here. As I see it, his biggest moment was losing to a guy who most give littel to no respect on here. Cintron is still a green fighter. He wouls be a perfect step up for Berto. I think its a pick em fight. Cintron's power is overrated and Berto's speed is what would keep him in a Cintron fight. Neither guy does any one thing great. They both are top 10 guys at WW. Probably numbers 9 and 10.

I have ALWAYS said that the fighter makes the belt. The belt doesn't make the fighter.

The reality is that Chicanito, manfredy, chavez and corrales were among the best at 130. Castillo was the best at 135. Hatton is the best at 140. JUdah and Baldomir were not the best at 147, but they were top 5. And Oscar is among the best 2 or 3 at 154.

If that is a padded legacy, then so be it.

        Factor,

Berto spent the past two fights getting hit. If Estrada had more pop, he would have been in trouble.

Hell, if his corner didn't take a chainsaw to his glove, he might have been stopped by Cosme Rivera.

And of course you forgot to mention Tszyu being the best at 140.

cintron is about 2 or 3 very dangerous steps up for berto. cintron could very easily end a career with his right hand. i want to see berto around for a while because he can be great. This is not even close to a pick 'em fight, it's a "pick what round cintron concusses his ass" fight. At this point, Berto keeps his hands low and gets hit a lot. Cintron doesnt need to hit you a lot. This fight smells of bad idea.

I think Estrada should just be given credit for figthing a gutty fight, he tested Berto and Berto passed the test. If anything my opinion of Berto went up in that fight in that he was able to finish and win a grueling fight like that against a veteran fighter who was there to win.

I dont know who would have been able to take the kind of punishment Berto put on Estrada and keep coming forward the way he did for that many rounds. Berto's a tough fight for anybody at 147.

We are done with it. But, after the all the bs Dios gave me, I can't help but drive the point home just a bit.

You're not driving anything home. If anything you're losing credibility as a boxing fan going on and on about a retired fighter. Find a new shtick to attack floyd. For starters, are you picking Hatton to beat him?

I wouldnt put Berto in with Cintron. Berto is has a suspect chin, and his defense isnt all that tight, Cintron would put his lights out.

Id give him a chance against Mayweather, because of his offensive abilities, and sufficient boxing skills.
