Mayweather would not waste his time with Berto in a million years.

Cintron makes more money fighting the Cotto/Mosley winner, Williams, or even Margarito again.

Berto is not fighting for either of those belts any time soon. DiBella may still pursue the Quintana fight first anyway. That's a decent, winnable (though tough) BAD main event before he starts to campaign for a shot at one of the titlists.

They're rushing him along. But often people know what they're doing when they do that.

I would put him against Cintron. Who is still lumbring and predictable.

        Very winnable fight for Berto.

I see what you're saying, but seriously do you think that would be a good idea? Berto needs to loosen up because he is to stiff when he fights. Not taking anything from Berto, but Berto needs to work on his Defense. Once he fix his problem with his D, then he will be a force.

Certainly winnable, and they wouldn't risk it if they didn't think he had a GREAT chance. HBO is already spewing their customary hype nonsense. But they're never that far off the mark.

There is a big difference fighting against opponent whose arsenal is dependant on both arms then the one whose arsenal is dependant on just one arm. If berto can time(and I think he can) Cintron's right hand and not give him space to throw it he would most likely beat him.

I get your point and I agree but look at like this. Berto has a nice selection of punches and a nice offensive attack but if one, JUST ONE OF CINTRON'S RIGHT hands land flush, Berto might get KO. I just wont him to work on his defense before he fight a puncher like Cintron. (just my opinion)

Maybe, who knows, but this is boxing and boxing is a hurt business.
In my opinion if Berto fights smart he can beat up cintron who never showed himself to be a smart and adoptable fighter.

I believe it was cintron's left hand that knocked matthysse cold. In fact im 100% sure of it.

Where's Sharmba Mitchell when you need him. He's always a good measuring stick. I think Paul Williams fought him before his title bout.
