    ****ING RIDICULOUS.

Honestly, I never really minded having 4 sanctioning bodies and basically 1 true belt, but the thing I hate most about the bodies is that they have such bull**** ratings.

    I mean what ****:

    - Berto at 2 at Welterweight
    - Mora at 3 at Middle
    - JCC jr. at 8
    - Duddy at 4 middle

Seriously, why do they have such bogus ratings. I mean let's look at The Ring's top 10 welterweight ratings

    C C 78 FLOYD MAYWEATHER 38-0 (24)
    1 1 44 MIGUEL COTTO 30-0 (25)
    2 2 71 PAUL WILLIAMS 33-0 (24)
    3 3 34 SHANE MOSLEY 44-4 (37)
    4 4 325 ANTONIO MARGARITO 34-5 (24)
    5 5 177 ZAB JUDAH 35-5 (25)
    6 6 166 KERMIT CINTRON 28-1 (26)
    7 7 129 LUIS COLLAZO 27-3 (13)
    8 8 26 JOSHUA CLOTTEY 32-2 (19)
    9 9 123 OKTAY URKAL 38-4 (12)
    10 10 10 JACKSON BONSU

The only person I haven't really heard on that list is Jackson Bonsu, but if I were to make a list of top welter's this would probably be it, but putting Berto in at 10 insted.

Don't get me wrong, Berto's good, but #2 in the world? I don't ****ing think so.

It's about creating matchups that generate the greatest monetary gain.

The thing that sucks is that, sure, maybe making berto fight a top tier guy (probably Cintron) would bring in more money in the short term, but letting berto develop would allow the sanctioning bodies to make more money down the line, cuz berto is a rising star, but not ready for the upper level competition. I would hate to see bertos career get derailed because his hand was forced. He looked good against estrada, but he got hit A LOT. Everytime ive seen berto fight he gets hit a lot. He will not take those punches so well against Cintron, and you can not develop good defense over night. It will take a few fights trying some different techniques out until his defense is ready for the top guys.

I think Mayweather and Cintron both beat Berto.

I think anyone at the top (Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley, Cintron, Pwil, Marg, clottey, and maybe collazo) all beat berto at this point. It's ridiculous of his handlers to even consider these fights, unless they think that berto is as good as he is going to get, which i sincerely doubt.

He seems naturally smaller than those top guys, maybe he should drop down in weight if he can effectively. Estrada was getting to him, and Berto was feeling it.

He's a thick boy. I think i heard somewhere he couldnt make it down to 140. he would be a monster if he could. i want to see him go to the body more, that's what he would need to do against the bigger guys. his constant head hunting could get him in some trouble.

thats a much better idea than making him a mandatory. oktay or joel julio would work, too. they would be good steps up in competition.
