Mayweather shouldn't be in the HOF.

Sure, it adds to the drama but someone who has truly dominated every fighter he's been up against has certainly done more by way of accomplishment..

that's right.....just like duran....how many times duran was knocked-out cold....i seen maybe 6 fights were duran was completly out....but it doesn't take anything away from being an GOAT or in the HOF...the same w/ hearns, leonar, haggler, frazier, ali...etc

        Here's the easy answer:

IF FLOYD JOY MAYWEATHER, JR DOES NOTHING ELSE IN HIS CAREER, HE IS ALREADY A LOCK HALL OF FAMER.

This isn't what many of you want to hear, but it is what it is.

That might be true but it shouldn't happen. I'd rather put Taylor in the HOF than Mayweather. Taylor fought the best of the best if you think about it..

Gatti contributed to the sport a lot more than Mayweather. He had FOTY more than once, he was an icon to many people.

So let me get this straight... having fights of the year is more important than being fighter of the year?

Who gives a **** about excitement compared to skill? Not the Hall of Fame, that is for sure.

Boxing is a 2 part formula... hit and don't be hit.

It doesn't matter how many punches you land, as long as it is more than your opponent, you should be in good shape (unless you don't spread it out over more than a few rounds).

OK... Micky Ward was in three FOTY's... THREE YEARS IN A ROW. Are you sending him to the hall also?
