personally i prefer attack minded offensive fighter's like Terrible Terry Norris ,Holyfiled ,Barrera ,Chavez

i do have enormous respect for defensive fighter's like Roy Jones JR ,Sugar Ray Leonard because they bring that explosiveness aswell as a good defensive game ,and it is engrained in these 2 fighter's too entertain the crowd not recklessly but always send the fan's home satisfied and thinking WOW what a great fighter

with Floyd you get a different kind of impression ,to me he is possibly the best ring general ever ,he can fight inside his defence and hand speed and reactions and ability to make adjustment's in fights is tremendous ,but i feel his explosiveness is a valid poit he does 'nt get you out your seat but he does make you admire how intelligent he fight's ,and you can only admire the skill level he possess's but he is never gonna be appreciated by the casual boxing fan because of his lack of personallity and explosiveness ,he does'nt seem to bring any drama to a fight now that may be because most of his oponents just cannot compete with him because he such a superior technitian

i have too say though the way he disposed of Gatti and Corrales,Castillo 2 he is a fantastic fighter never the less

The knock on Roy FOR YEARS was that he would carry lesser competition because he was afraid to take risks in the ring.

That is why RJJ was never a sustainably viable PPV fighter.

He is explosive. He just doesn't really sit down on his punches and is usually just countering or backing up as he throws.

I would like him if he was himself (not some ****** fake persona that he can't even pull off) and didn't claim how exciting his fights were when they aren't. He displays tremendous skills in his fights but to the average fan they aren't going to pay 50.00 to watch Mayweather, I'll tell you that much.

And Dios....the fans booed Mayweather like hell in the Baldy fight..lol man.
