he has the ability to no doubt ko people in stylish fashion. being the number 1 p4p boxer, you would expect him to be able to ko people. so would you guys prefer him to be more explosive?

Are you saying Floyd has the ability to knock guys out at welterweight? Even those of us who like Mayweather, like myself, know that is not the case. Floyd has moved to high up in weight - the days when he could drop his opponents are long gone. For all intensives purposes Floyd is now feather fisted. So what would being explosive get him? With the dried, brittle wood in his gloves probably two broken hands.

if he can't ko hatton then i would not consider him p4p. some of his fights he has the opportunity to be more explosive. he's got good stamina and could finish the guys with fast combo's. yet he sitll plays the safe game. certainly not a finisher.

No, I would like him more if he was more humble and not talked about money so much.

          Why?

whitaker was p4p and didn't knock guys out when he had the title. b-hop was ranked #1 p4p and didn't stop guys when he was ranked #1 either.

I'd like him if he didn't blatantly lie and say he was the greatest fighter that ever lived.

...There's nothing for him to finish. Floyd started his career at 130. All the way down at super featherweight....you're suggesting he could knock out a tough chinned Baldomir or a Zab Judah at 147? What about Oscar at a whopping 24 lbs above the men Floyd began his career fighting? He has weak, brittle hands and very little power at welterweight. Sure, he has the speed to load a guy up with combinations, maybe take them down from an accumulation...but power would definitely not be an attribute Floyd has at welterweight.

i don't know if that is a blatant lie. he might be delusional enough to really think he already did enough to be the greatest ever.

Did Pernell Whitaker deserve his #1 p4p status?

This is coming from a fan of a sport where the purpose of the sport is to cause temporary brain damage to the other guy. A sport where guys die in the ring, or are often disabled from competitive injuries.

You are upset because a guy brags and talks about his money. Think about that.
