Agreed. Duran and Hagler are totally different caliber from the guys Floyd has fought. No question. Sugar Ray Leonard would have never avoided Kostya Tszyu precisely because Tszyu was the dominant LWW in the world. Leonard would have gone after Tszyu for his title and the reputation. Floyd talked the talk when it came to fighting Tszyu, but he did not walk the walk. That fight would have happened if Floyd had really wanted it, Showtime and HBO nothwithstanding. Floyd had a Duran to fight, ie .. Tszyu, and he didn't do it.

Tszyu is a giant black hole in Floyd's resume. An unexplainable void.

Floyd never ducked KT. Floyd asked for that fight several times but with Kostya signed to Showtime and Floyd to HBO it was extremely hard to make it happen. I believe that Floyd Tszyu would have happened if Hatton wouldn't have beaten Kostya. Things didn't go as planned so Floyd called Hatton out but Hatton also with showtime had to bide his time and make changes and now here we are with both Floyd and Hatton signed with HBO and the fight is happening conicidence I think not.

Floyd has made an attempt to make every big fight he possibly could I wish people would actually attempt to research these things and realize this guy is a true fighter who wants to be tested it's not his fault some of these fights can't be made but at least he make the effort unlike a lot of other so called champions out there.
