Why are people so obsessed about losses?
Every HOF fighter has suffered losses.
Some more than once believe it or not.

Look I don't care really. But that's just how it goes. I'm sure you have follwed boxing for a long time. But nowadays people kill fighters for losing one fight. That's just how it is now for some reason.

I don't understand it either. People make it seem that boxers are supposed to be invincible and have no future once they lose. I mean fighters like ali, frazier, robinson, leonard, etc have lost more than once but they are still regarded as some of the best fighters ever. Now just because someone loses once their exposed, overated, or no good. Why can't it just be that the better man won and thats it. Thats what i mean about ignorant people on this forum.

            EXACTLY !!!!
It is very rare in ANY sport that a team or one person can be so dominant not to taste defeat once or more.
Too much is put on the "0".
I will use Bernard Hopkins as a prime example even though I don't like him.
He came back from losses in his early career.

I understand your point though, I just dont think Floyd is a coward by any strech of the imagination.
I would never call anyone who enters the boxing ring a coward.

I know and people just don't understand that. I bet that whoever loses the hatton/mayweather fight is gonna get the same treatment.

Its not really about a person not losing its really about how a person loses. Taylor put up a good fight even though he lost. Many people want to see a rematch so that is bull****. PBF is held to a different standard and judged differently than any other boxer right now for whatever reason. No fighter in the history of boxing has taken on all top flight to elite opponents. Everyone has people on they're resume who didn't belong in the ring with them. Its just that you try to limit those kinds of opponents. PBF never ducked anyone. Tell me how many times have any of you seen a HBO fighter easily get a fight with a Showtime fighter? The worse part about that **** is HBO and Showtime are owned by the same company so they are not really competitors. Like someone said ealier PBF told Margarito we will fight later on when it makes them BOTH some money. Margarito ****ed that up not PBF. No fighter can be totally blamed for certain fights not coming together. Both sides have to agree to terms that is beneficial for both fighters not just one. Whats with all this running talk? When did he run and against who? Since when have all PBF fights been boring? I can honestly get with people saying his fights against Baldomir and De la Hoya weren't the best. But I don't agree with saying he ran in those fights. Running in a fight to me is what Andre Dirrell did in that Stevens fight. Running is what De la Hoya did in the last 3-4 rounds of the Trinidad fight. PBF has never done that.

mayweather isnt a coward, he's just extremely cautious and doesn't care who it puts to sleep, or how boring it is, or how annoying it is to watch.

i'm just tired of floyd saying that he's going to go to war and then he turns it in to a game of " tag! you're IT! ", instead of scrapping and making it a squab or actually trying to finish the fight early.

and i'm sick of hearing floyd keep on saying, " i'm the creme de la creme" which every time i hear him say that i think of a ****o where it's all about nutting in a chicks face. plus how many times is he going to use that same phrase which sounds completely lame, it makes him look and sound like a buster........

all in all mayweather isnt a coward he's very cautious and he's annoying..........but he's highly talented and well trained, gotta give him that at least.
