Hatton won't if Floyd wins a decision by "floating like a butterfly and stinging like a butterfly". If this happens, nothing is clarified, and Hatton moves right along saying, "I wanted to fight, but he didn't," and Floyd continues to get criticized for avoiding combat.

Any resolution to the fight is preferable to this one.

Is Sugar Ray Leonard a coward for not fighting Aaron Pryor? Sugar Ray Leonard's said he wouldn't fight Aaron Pryor because he would beat the **** out of Aaron Pryor. Yet when PBF makes statements like that majority of yall call him all sorts of names and say he is ducking that person. Why is it different for Sugar Ray Leonard? What is the difference in the way that Sugar Ray Leonard fought Duran in the 2nd fight and how Sugar Ray fought Hagler any different than how PBF fought Baldomir and De la Hoya?

True that. i even use to criticize mayweather for his so called running. then I realized that he is just the type of fighter that just wont stand there and let you hit him. he makes you earn your shots. Its understandable cause he doesn't wanna end up like one of those fighters who had one fight too many. Of course thats not pleasing to the fans but their not the ones in the ring. I just accepted what type of fighter that mayweather is and thats a careful one. Hes only gonna throw a punch if he lands and people need to accept that.

at least sugar ray fought hagler hearns duran all in there prime and alot of other solid fighters. when your fighting guys like baldomir, sosa, ndou, bruseles, gatti, you cannot call yourself the best when your ducking the best. mayweather is a coward. he will not fight the best to keep his perfect record.

Agreed. Duran and Hagler are totally different caliber from the guys Floyd has fought. No question. Sugar Ray Leonard would have never avoided Kostya Tszyu precisely because Tszyu was the dominant LWW in the world. Leonard would have gone after Tszyu for his title and the reputation. Floyd talked the talk when it came to fighting Tszyu, but he did not walk the walk. That fight would have happened if Floyd had really wanted it, Showtime and HBO nothwithstanding. Floyd had a Duran to fight, ie .. Tszyu, and he didn't do it.

Tszyu is a giant black hole in Floyd's resume. An unexplainable void.

                  Sugar ray walked the walk.
                  That is the difference.

So is it PBF fault that back in the day Mosley asked for 10 mil to fight him knowing he wouldn't get that kind of money? Is it PBF fault that Hatton wasn't ready 2 years ago? It is PBF fault Mosley turned him down twice last year? Is it PBF fault that Kostya was a showtime fighter and his was hard to get a HBO and a SHowtime fighter together?
So who is it that PBF ducked? Don't say Margarito because that would be a lie. Are you saying that Sugar Ray Leonard has nobody on his resume that was the caliber of fighter that you are saying those people were? PBF is nowhere near perfect but the **** some of yall say is so far off base it makes no sense at all.
