Arum knows what he is talking about and not neccesarily lying. P4p is not set in stone. PBF may have looked the best once upon a time they way he beat people but you got to do that day after day, fight after fight.
PBF dont knock people out as well so is he a fighter or a defence merchant. Boxing is to hit and not get hit. Well he is so concerned with not getting hit it is almost over the top that he is forgetting to hit his opponents. Well certainly not hitting his opponents that much more than they are hitting him. The last fight with DLH the judgles couldnt seperate them. Manny Pac at least knocks people out so is what you could be described as a fighter. That is all that Arum is saying. He still respects PBF though and understands that PBF is good at what he does. Its just not knockin people out.
And if it is their belief that pacman is no1, it is only a opinion. But ast least they have seen Pacman to be able to have an opinion.

My only problem with Pac is that he literally has been fighting nobody.

            Does a Velasquez/Morales/ Larios/Morales/solis/barrera string impress you?

I like MannyPac. A LOT. But let's call it what it is. He has been feasting on easy comp.

Cotto and Mosely both would be good competition for Mayweather.

Easy comp you could say. But Barerra was, is highly rated top 10 as was the other mexicans, apart from Morales. So that is top class competition. Not really anyone else that pac could fight really before.
We all know PBF is great at what he does but his comp was not top 10 p4p.

One thing I think everyone forgets, or refuses to give credit to, is the fact that PBF is fighting way above his best weight. Lets face it. He is best at 135lbs at the most and he only fought their 2 times against JLC if I remember correctly. Floyd does not run and I challenge anyone to show me a fight that he has to include Oscar (no your personal opinion dont count, you need factual proof). If you cant see that PBF is the most complete fighter(#1 P4P) out their today then either you dont know anything about boxing or your letting a personal biast affect your judgement. That being said my boy Pacman is the most exciting fighter out their today. If he had a better defense then you could put him past PBF for sure but he dont and he never will because he fights to knock out or be knocked out, which is why I love to watch him fight more than anyone else. Pacman is fighting at a reasonable weight and I bet if he went up in weight he wouldn't be so exciting either. Arum is a bum and needs to stop killing boxing. For him to try to put Pavlik in a tune up before the rematch with JT just shows his greed and his lack of connection with the fans. He's just a hyped up car salesman who tries to suck da last dime out of the fans.

we agree that Morales was done. Cool.

Larios? He had just lost a fight at 122. The guy jumps two weight classes to fight the best 130'er?? C'mon, dude.

When is the last time that barrera has looked great? Or even "very good" ? maybe in the JMM fight. But largely speaking, MAB has shown that his best days are WAY past him. 33 years old with 70 fights? For a little guy?

                      Velasquez was a journeyman.

It's just the facts, man.... Pac's competition level has been sub-par. But I'll respect your opinion.
