A clause of that deal was that none of those 3 fights would NOT be with Mayweather.
Thats why Hatton was talking so much trash early on, because he knew it didnt really matter, he had a year and a half to prepare for Floyd.
If there was any ducking going on, that was it.
Props to Ricky now though, for deciding he is ready and stepping up to fight Floyd.
If that is true...well then I have lost a hell of alot of respect for Ricky Hatton.

And as a man..I will concede to the fact that Ricky Hatton is a *****.

TO be fair though, he DID talk **** AFTER Castillo (his third fight).

The deal did not specify what fighters Hatton WOULD be fighting, only the one he would NOT be.

Yeah how about Ricky Hatton intentionially signing a 3 fight contract (Collazo, Urango, Castillo)
If in doubt, make something up.

And for that, I give him props.
He took the 3 fights, got prepared and then decided he was ready to step up.

Are you attempting to deny that Hatton signed a 3 fight deal with HBO that did not involve Floyd Mayweather?

That is bull****. Ray Hatton never said "we want to fight Collazo, Urango and Castillo before we fight Mayweather". At one stage he did say they wanted more fights before fighting Floyd but that is entirely different.

                    You have proof of this?

I did my homework. I said that he chose to be patient and then fight De la Hoya. In all honestly, Baldy was a tune up fight for Floyd until that fight. Read EXACTLY what I say next time, before you comment.
