Dios and the rest are in complete denial...

All this talk of Hatton ducking Mayweather.

Well, how about Mayweather ducking Margarito?

Some boxing fans have short memories.

Anyone remember Bob Arum offering Mayweather 8 million PLUS A SHARE OF PPV revenue for Nov. 4?

    I sure do.

Anyone also remember Mayweather paying 750,000 OUT OF HIS OWN pocket to buy out his contract with Arum?

    I sure do.

Oh, and remember guys, "if it makes dollars it makes cents (or sense...whatever)" - Mayweather

Hatton may not have ducked Mayweather.. But Mayweather doesn't duck people. He REALLY is money hungry. Let's see.. 8 million for Margarito or wait a while and fight De La Hoya for two times that, atleast.. Geez, I dunno. Such a tough choice.

He fought Baldomir...For a little over 8 million. He made the same amount for fighting Baldomir.

Imagine if Mayweather beat up Margarito? The public would of been demanding a fight with DLH? A fight with Marg would of improved his career...just like it did with Oscar's. Oscar and Leonard could of fought scrubs there entire careers. The public would of bought it....

For a little while. But sooner or later the public wants more.

And Oscar and Leonard eventually gave it to them.

I think we all can agree that Margarito was the bigger name in the sport, right? He has a huge mexican following so tons of mexicans would of bought the PPV against Floyd? I'd like to think moreso then it would of with a Floyd- Baldomir fight.

Now he made 8 million plus PPV revenue right for fighting Baldomir right.

Now, do me a favour. Subtract 8 million and 750,000. **** it.

                  Let's round that off:
Subtract 8 million and 1 million.

                  What's the return investment???

you are preaching to the choir, but check it. baldy had the undisputed WW championship to be gained from. marg only had his wbo strap at the time to offer.
