Oh I love the ring. The same organization that gave Klitschko, Mayorga, and Calzaghe (sorry guys but Zag is no more of a champion then Kessler is) belts.
But since you love the ABC belt's so much. I got a newsflash for ya:
Mayweather wasn't the lineal champ at 130 or 135 either.

I didn't see that as ducking anybody. He had to make a choice, I mean, he only gets to pick one fighter. I woulda much rather seen him pick Margarito cuz Margarito's better than Baldomir. Oh well, Mayweather woulda beat Margarito too anyways.Comment

It's not Floyd.... it's "FRAUD" Mayweather Jr.
Commentary by Johnny Benz (July 6, 2006)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Recently while reading the very popular Doug Fischer Mail Bag at MaxBoxing, I came across a worthy nick name for Floyd Mayweather. The name is now circulating the internet quicker than anyone could ever imagine. The name in question featured in Fischer's Mail Bag: FRAUD Mayweather. Such is the speed the nick name has travelled, that If I was a boxer, I just do not think I'd ever want to get on Doug Fischer's bad side. A quick glance at internet message boards will tell you just how fast fans are picking up on calling Floyd, "Fraud" Mayweather Jr.
The reason stems from the simple fact that Floyd is seemingly dodging a worthy opponent in Antonio Margarito to the tune of an 8 million dollar pay day. It seems Floyd, or shall we call him "FRAUD", does not feel Margarito is a worthy challenge and not worth signing on the dotted line for a whopping 8 million dollar pay day. Fans aren't buying it... and let's face it, if Margarito wasn't worthy, then why wouldn't Floyd....err I mean "FRAUD," take the 8 million dollar pay day and take on Margarito. After all, if Margarito isn't worthy, then it should be an easy pay day for "FRAUD" Mayweather Jr. Go on take the money and run should be the logic here if this were the case. Unfortunately it is not.
There is no reason not to take that sort of money and fight Margarito next. Especially since for the time being, Oscar De La Hoya is out of Mayweather's immediate future.
For me personally, the nick name fits well. It almost seems "FRAUD" Mayweather is happy facing lesser challenges for decent dollar. Why else would he choose to face Zab Judah after Judah's worth was put into perspective when Carlos Bladomir clearly dominated Judah just prior to his fight with Mayweather Jr.?
Saying "no" to an 8 million dollar pay day is not only crazy, but in this case shows a fighter to be lacking in wanting to face serious challenges. It seems "FRAUD" is taking a beating in the polls over it too. Many Pound for Pound lists no longer have Mayweather sitting on the top spot. Many are quick to point out he is just not worthy of that placement.
The choice is now up to "FRAUD" Mayweather Jr. He should take a page from Oscar De La Hoya's career. Years ago Oscar gained the nick name of "Chicken" De La Hoya. The name would have stuck with Oscar if it were not for the fact that Oscar seemed to care, and started changing fans and critics' perspectives by taking on Challenges worthy of Fans cheers and critics' praise. No one calls De La Hoya "Chicken" anymore.
Simply not taking an 8 million dollar pay day for reasons not worthy of print, when fans are and critics alike are demanding it... earns one the nick name, "FRAUD."
Until the day Floyd Mayweather Jr takes it upon himself to not only listen to the fans but to take his career in a direction where legends are born, until that day, I am sure the name "FRAUD" Mayweather will stick to him. I can think of 8 million reasons off the top of my head why the nick name "FRAUD" will stick. Personally for the sake of all of us and the sport in general, I hope Mayweather steps up to the plate and proves to all of us he is not "Fraud" Mayweather.
Johnny Benz is a bit of a Schizo.
Here in both your previous posts he slags Mayweather to **** yet in this article posted by Dios he makes him out to be the second coming of christ.
Floyd Mayweather Jr proven to beat UFC and soon to dominate Ricky Hatton as well
By Johnny Benz (Sept 4, 2007) Doghouse Boxing
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can say what you want about Floyd Mayweather Jr., but you can not take away from the fact that his talents in Boxing aren't just good... they are outrageously great. It's not very often that certified gold talent such as Mayweather Jr. comes along. With his latest victory over Oscar De La Hoya back in May, Mayweather Jr. has hit the floor running with his popularity stronger than ever before. He has rewarded fans by not only breaking his commitment to retiring, but also diving head first into his next challenge. Mayweather Jr. will face the hard hitting, rugged and talented in his own rights, Ricky Hatton. Mayweather Jr.
could have easily taken on a light opponent after De La Hoya instead of Hatton, but Mayweather seems more content on sealing his legacy then pissing away the momentum he gained after such an impressive victory that was witnessed by Millions.
Enter "Dancing with the Stars". It was announced last week that Mayweather Jr. will be joining the cast of the hit television show, Dancing with the Stars. The program pits celebrity against celebrity in a ballroom dance off. Viewers vote weekly on which Celebrities get to go on to the next round. It's time consuming and strenuous for all contestants. The program has the second highest ratings on US television. In other words, Mayweather Jr. is about to get a heck of a lot more famous. By entering the contest, Mayweather Jr. ensures he will be seen by countless millions on a week to week basis from people who do not normally watch boxing. Not only is that good for Mayweather and his already growing popularity, but it is also extremely great for the sport of Boxing.
Boxing has taken a beating mainly from UFC writers (who's agenda is to make the UFC bigger than it really is) who say Sports such as the UFC are taking over Boxing. That's nonsense, especially when each and every year Boxing has
kicked the living crap out of the popularity of the UFC. I like the UFC personally, not nearly as much as Boxing of course, but I got to call it as it is... Each and every year the biggest Pay-per-views in popularity and gross revenue are Boxing related, not UFC.
Mayweather Jr. who not only strongly criticized the UFC in recent times, has with his fight against Oscar De La Hoya proven that not only is Boxing here to stay.... it will remain dominant. And Mayweather Jr. is doing his part too ensure it. Fighting Hatton in December of this year and being featured on the highly rated "Dancing with Stars," Mayweather Jr. is on fire these days and he is certainly not holding back.
Some say that Mayweather Jr. joining "Dancing with Stars" will hamper his training for his fight with Hatton and that it may cost him. I say nonsense... if anything the dancing with getting him in better shape, work his reflexes, his mind, his stamina and be an added overall boost to his regular training. If anyone should be worried, it shouldn't be Mayweather Jr. The one who should be worried, who needs to be worried, and probably is worried, is none other than Ricky Hatton. Hatton is now fully aware that Mayweather Jr. will be taking his training to a new level, a higher level, and pardon the pun, but Mayweather Jr is taking his training as high as the Stars this time around. It will be hard for Hatton to out do Mayweather Jr's training, and it will also be next to impossible for Hatton to match Mayweather Jr's skills.
Hatton's chances against Mayweather Jr. are Slim to none... and Slim died on the Table when the contracts were signedComment

Hm.....you cant.
Unification robs most guys of there purses anyways.
It's all about the competition, how you beat them.
Oh, and I forgot to mention. He wasn't the lineal champ.
Genaro Hernandez and Jose Luis Castillo were never champions. Jose Luis Castillo won (barely) his alphabet belt from Stevie Johnson. Genero Hernandez won the vacant WBA belt, vacated it and then won the WBC belt from an old Azumah Nelson. Neither Hernandez nor Castillo unified the titles or defeated the previous linear champions (Brian Mitchell and Pernell Whitaker). Stevie Johnson was never a champion at lightweight and Azumah Nelson was, like Johnson, merely an alphabet titlist. Stevie Johnosn won his alphabet belt from Jean Baptiste Mendy and Mendy won that vacant WBC belt in a bout with Lamar Murphy.
But that means nothing anyway. Just random banter to piss you off.
He was the best fighter in those divisions anyway.
Cept I think Casamayor could of beat him. Stevie was good too..would of liked to see that fight.
But anyway..Comment

Lol lol that is what I see as hilarious about these Mayweather fans. They do not want him to fight the best...all they want is to stick up for them like they are there personal butlers.
Hey Mayweather fans:
