Is Paul Williams doing himself a disservice by fighting in the WW Division?

I think he is somewhat overrated, myself. However, is it possible that he is doing himself a disservice by not advancing to the next division?

IMO, I doubt many of the top WW would be willing to see him in the ring for varying reasons. As much, with the advantages he has it would seem to me he'd better challange himself if he advanced.

    Any thoughts?

thats exactly what i was thinking if he wants to make some money fights he should move up in class still i think his manager will play it safe and he will remain in obscurity defending his wbo title vs the likes of collazo

I think for now it's fine. He has the ability to clean out the divsion. I could see him beating them all at 147. His style and size plus he uses the jab and has good stamina. Wow.

who's P-Will going to fight at 147? for his next fight

because the Cotto-Mosley winner and Mayweather-Hatton winners will almost certainly meet (why wouldn't they? any of the above 2 winners in a fight together is HUGE money wise and in half unifying the Welter division) Cotto-Hatton, Mosley-Hatton, Cotto-PBF, Mosley-PBF .. you get the idea

P-Will is shooting himself in the foot .. by not more actively trying to get a fight with Kermit Cintron

granted Cintron is busy (fight coming up in November)

but why completly write him off as a potential opponent?

          o well maybe in 2008.

what does he gain from moving up? please tell me, cuz i dont see any 154lbers calling this guy out. face it, homey. he would still have the same **** to deal with at 154. besides, to me if moves up he scared to stay at 147 cuz the competition is 10 times better than 154. 10 times. all the big fights and the big money is at 147. 154 got nothing to offer right now, anyways. its one of the worst divisions boxing. what you got to say about that, patna?
