America owes Calzaghe an apology for not sending him a map and compass so he could safely find his way out of Wales.

why would he fight in a place where a white fighter can only win by a knockout?

He didn't have any problems dismantling Lacy. And Lacy actually stpped up and went to Wales. Facts>you.

The old adage applies. You want respect, you earn it. Beating the Peter Manfredos of the world doesn't get you it.
So that's what his whole carreer has been? Beating Peter Manfredos?

Is there anyone who really thinks Calzaghe would'nt UD the ever loving **** out of Hopkins right now?

At this stage of Hops career for me personally it'd be irrelevant.

Nope, he also beats the Sakio Bikas too. Man loves to fight them Contenders!

Really, besides Jeff Lacy, who has Calzaghe fought? Nevermind the fact that he's never fought outside of Europe, the man's fought no one who's known or respected by Americans. And all of a sudden, you think he should be given respect? Tell the man to come to the United States and fight someone like Bernard Hopkins. And if he does beat Hopkins, then he'll get the respect you think he deserves.

But for now, he's done very little to warrant respect by beating the Contender's best.

Most of his fights ARE outside of Wales.

And the reason being is, as soon as i posted the previous thread it drowned in minutes because of the Pavlik lovers.

Hes all heart. But no skills or speed. Power and heart yes. But its only a matter of time until he loses the title. Another example of the Americans over rating their own fighters.
hmm power and heart....sounds like a certain ARTURO ****ING GATTI

Why woulkd Calzaghe leave to fight in front of 6K when he pulls the ticket sales he does. Calzaghe-Kessler may not have the PPV revenue, but it's gate will be right there with PBF-DLH.
