Apologize wtf hahaha. Pavlik vs. Taylor was for the Middleweight championship and was a fantastic fight that happened only a few days ago, no **** its gonna be the topic of discussion over a fight thats happening a month away. The talk before Taylor/Pavlik didnt really pick up huge about a week before the fight, youll see the same with Kessler/Calzaghe.

and there are some Americans with better records than Kessler and Calzaghe, so theyre hardly on 'another level'. but they certainly are great fighters, and Im going to throughly enjoy their fight.

and Pavlik is in no way skillless.

And Calzaghes technical skills are very overrated IMO. he's sloppy, but his speed more then makes up for it.

We'll see how good these guys are after they fight eachother, i have a feeling this COULD possibly be a sloppy fight

You've been whining since the end of Pavlik-Taylor. Please stop it already. both Pavlik-Taylor and Calzaghe-Kessler are big fights. Whether Kessler and Joe would beat Pavlik does not matter...Pavlik is still a damn good fighter and has proven it by KNOCKING OUT two of the best middleweights out there.

Calzaghe and Kessler are on a different level to any American fighter. Other than Floyd. Complete fighters.

I've watched about 10 Calzaghe fights and almost 30 Kessler fights.
Calzaghe tends to be sloppy on his defense. But he is [I]so[I] fast it might make up for it.
Kessler is not as fast, but in no way slow for his division. One thing you can be sure of is that he is never sloppy. He is not as versatile as JC but he so damned focused throughout a fight.
Not gonna be a sloppy fight. It will be a very clean fight, almost with no ref needed.

              langshof, one question:

Who has the longer reach? Kessler, Joe Cal, or Pavlik.

You want Americans to respect either of these guys?

Winner faces Hopkins and if they beat him, they'll get the respect. But boy oh boy, if they were to lose....

Cazaghe has to beat Hopkins to get respect?

                    How do you figure that?

Because Bernard's the most respected American fighter out there right now.

The old adage applies. You want respect, you earn it. Beating the Peter Manfredos of the world doesn't get you it.
