uh if Ricky could really make it at a Welter .. how come this is his 2nd fight ever at that weight class?

147 is a pretty big deal .. have you seen Hatton at 140 compared to most of his opponents?

5'6 and 150ish (his weight by fight night) is a huge advantage to have at junior welter

put a 5'6 150ish fighter at Welter and he isn't nearly as effective ..even if that man is Ricky Hatton

It dosent matter what hatton wants to do during the fight ....the question is will mayweather allow him to do it.... u cant hit what u cant see.... hatton is gonna choke in this fight and look bad... many people think it will be a competitive fight.... it wont... if floyd decides to run... its no mystery.. all his opponents know what he's gonna do but they dont have an answer... hatton wont have an answer either... and if mayweather decides to stand in with hatton its gonna be an embarrassment for hatton... again dont believe the hype... easy fight for floyd...wont even be competitive.....

I read in a published article that Hatton walks around at 180. I can't cite it for you because I don't remember that. I also read about Hatton weighing 166 during the promotional tour last week.

Well, if Floyd is given the choice of whether or not to allow Hatton to have his way, then it's going to be a long night for Ricky. I think for Hatton to win, Ricky must make the decisions and Floyd will have to react to that.

That might be true if hatton was on mayweathers level.... but theres mayweather and than everyone else... hatton will not out think mayweather ...nor does hatton have enough talent to will himself with skill or heart to dictate the pace of the fight... mayweather will dictate the pace of the fight... win easily ... and ill be out 50 green backs .... only to see hatton getting used like a punching bag.....

Well it is a fairly important consideration and it supports the contention that's further been reported that Hatton really is the larger man here.
