How will Hatton do it?

Nice read Hyena. Man, I have read every reply, and i just got to say this.Kelly Pavlik leaped into that blue chip yacht that was being leased from Emanual Steward and broke it up. And, Jermain Taylor was chewed up and swallowed like Captain Quint in the mouth of the great white shark in the movie "Jaws". Why will Floyd Mayweather, Jr.'s fight with Ricky Hatton be any different? There is one big reason:
Unlike Steward, Floyd's handlers have no pride. They know their boy can win decisions by simply staying away, and pecking the opponent to death. Floyd has been known to figuratively sprout wings to avoid trading with a dangerous opponent. The comparison to the mythological winged horse, Pegasus, is not unwarranted. Floyd's defensive skills have taken the art of boxing to a new high, and "Lil' Floyd" will NOT be sacrificed out of pride.
So don't expect Floyd to float into Hatton's waiting jaws, for that boat will not even be in the water. The Floyd-Hatton contest will be totally different from the Taylor debacle. Floyd will be flying high saying, "Come and get me if you can." It's up to Hatton to clip his wings. How can he do it?
My analysis: Hatton must burrow in. Yes, Corley scored from the outside with the right hand, but he was a southpaw. Write Slap Slap's fight off. One could also visualize how prime Tszyu would have handled Floyd, and handle him he would with that magical counter, but IMO Hatton is no Tszyu. But, as evidenced by the Hatton-Tszyu fight, Hatton does have unique abilities of his own, and so to the N'dou fight we go. N'dou got to Floyd, but N'dou was wildly inaccurate and didn't have the power necessary to break Floyd down. Hatton has accuracy and power. Hatton must especially target the body with his left hook to eventually bring Floyd's right hand down, making him vulnerable to the left hook upstairs. If there's a way to get through Floyd's "Philly Shell," that's it, IMO.
What is your analysis Hatton supporters? Put your money where your mouth is (I am). What should be his game plan? Surely it's more than just a hope and a prayer.
You people are so ***in enamored with Floyd you can't see the truth thats staring you right in the face. Floyd Mayweather has not fought a strong fighter since the Castillo fight. WTF is the matter with you all. Are you that ***in blind to reality THAT YOU CAN'T SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENED?
N'doe,Gatti,Brusselles,Judah, And a ***in dinosaur in DLH. Are you guys outta your minds? He has beat absolutely NOBODY WORTH MENTIONING and now he is fighting a top ten p4p guy that is naturally stonger and a devastating body punchers and great infighter.
It's just ***ing sad that all you hear is Floyds Talent BLah, Blah,Blah. Yeah, and for the one billionth time-Floyd looks great against ***in weak competition, or does he really? The only two fights he actually looked good in was Gatti, and N'dou. Big ***in deal.
I am literally counting the days. Mark my words. When Floyd takes an ass whipping, I'm calling everyone of you ignorant ****s out on it-You will never live it down.
Floyd will be lucky to go the distance in this fight. So talk all that **** alittle longer, because very soon, Floyd will be sharing a room with Taylor at the mental clinic, and all you nut licking unoriginal bastards are going to look just how you really are--****** as ***!Comment

Exactly my point. That castillo fight was close with him winning the later rounds. Could have went either way honestly. Hatton ko'd castillo in 4 and broke some ribs. So I believe this is gonna be a good fight for both guys.Comment

If you think this is the same Castillo or Floyd from 5 yrs ago your in for a shock , Castillo is faded to **** and Floyd has got oohhh so much better !Comment

Hatton has to fight the fight of his life. He has to borrow into Floyd's chest and stick to it like glue. No matter how ugly it get's or bad it looks he has to keep that pressure on and he must be nonstop with his pressure. He can't give Floyd a second to breathe and he must continue to pound away at Floyd and hopefully break him down until the later rounds.Comment

The fight was six years ago. Fighters learn and they get better. But just as importantly, FIGHTERS GROW and get BIGGER..
When Taylor last fought Pavlik (albeit amateurs), he was the more experienced, and physically mature fighter. Look what hapnd Saturday.
Floyd was a 130 guy with 20-something fights moving up to fight a HIGH QUALITY lightweight champion in his prime . And Castillo was a BIG lightweight.
Still, in their second fight, Floyd clearly proved who was the better man.
NOW, Floyd is a full-grown man who is a lean/fit 148 on fight night. He has experience fighting much bigger men.
Anybody who hangs their hopes on that "Floyd struggled with JLC" theory is in for a rude awakening. Floyd can beat Ricky at any type of fight Ricky wants. ANY.Comment

so if Hatton handled Castillo in 4 rounds in 2007
yet gave Mayweather a hard 12 rounds in 2002. does that mean Hatton will KO Mayweather in 6
I don't see the logic. The Castillo/Mayweather fight was 5 years ago .. and at 135 .. which is lightweight.
this fight (Hatton-PBF) is at 147 .. so whats the point .. and no Castillo didn't make it close .. he got dominated and outlanded just about every single round
Easton, why are you kissing his ass for bringing up Pavlik-Taylor .
that fight has no relation AT ALL to this Welterweight showdown
Pavlik was an easy prediction to make ... because of one thing .... CONSISTANCY
Pavlik vs Zertuche and vs Miranda was a very consistant fighter .. did his thing and KO'd both guys
Taylor was pretty ****ty vs Ouma ... and almost as bad vs Spinks
Pavlik was consistantly good in both performances his last 2 fights ... while Taylor was consistantly under performing
I don't see any relation to Pavlik-Taylor ... in relation to Mayweather-Hatton
other then both champs hold (Taylor held) the WBC belt
and no Floyd won't be upset like Taylor .. because Taylor wasn't upset .. he got beat by the bigger, better, less flawed fighter.Comment
