Thats exactly what Im trying to say.
Its about giving the champ the oppourtounity to get up or be counted out properly.
Ive said it before and Ill say it again, I think Taylor was done and would not have gotten up, but that doesnt mean he doesnt deserve the oppourtounity to do so.

gosh People want taylor to get knocked the **** out or something? taylor was ****ed and i seen thousands of fights where the ref stops the bout when they get ****ed in the corner refs hardly ever tell the other fighter knocking out the opponant to go to his corner when there against the ropes.
FACT: He got knocked the **** out his legs was gone and hands where down after taking some nice rights he was done before the stoppage get over it.
I like taylor but he gna have to prove himself in the rematch i dont think he wanted it more then pavlik in that fight.

After watching the fight again, Taylor was out cold.

Taylor was out like Walcott was out against Marciano in the first fight.

Oppourtounity? For what to get his head smashed in again he didnt even want to get up when it was stopped let alone get up after the 8 count.
As i said i seen alot of stoppages like taylors and mostly have always been the right dicision.
Pavlik had a advantage cause he got knocked down in the middle of the ring where he could beat the count when your trapped and gettin hammered what can the ref do but stop the fight ever heard of accumilation of punches? that kinda **** ****s up boxers.
