I don't know for sure if Jermain was unconscious but he was finished. I'm a fan of his and I think it was a good stoppage. Only thing that coulda saved him was taking a knee(i.e. Judah against Cotto). Pavlik would have just kept playing golf with Jermain's head.

taylor was gone but he should have moved pavlik to the nuteral corner and given him an 8 count as he was against the ropes and would have gone down, he was not unconscious from what i could see though he was very badly hurt, taylor can prove his worth in a rematch.

Thats not what im arguing, I think Taylor was done, but at least give him the oppourtounity to recover and keep fighting.
