As you said, it's just a perception. Doesn't need to be crazy just because it isn't yours...lolz another crazy perception, not because I don't agree but because I don't see the facts.. he isn't craving for no attention, how much more attention does he need other than being pound for pound the best boxer alive today on a championship level in terms of skills, he knows what he's worth yo he doesn't need to go to dancing with the stars as an attention whore he's doing it to attract more people to the sport, it's obvious yo he knows he's a big draw and he's trying to keep it that way. Floyd has all the money he needs yo it's all about greatness now not no ****ing attention, he's not no little kid knocking over crayons just so he could be acknowledged, where do you people get these thoughts from?? he's shown no signs of that, he's clearly doing a lot for the sport yet so many of you hate him, I just don't get it.. 100
How can you say he's shown no sign of attention craving?
Even if he actually decided to participate in Dancing with the Stars with the sole purpose of attracting more people into the sport, does that make it any less attention craving?
It's still a quest for attention however way you put it.
But do you seriously believe him when he says it's for the greater good of boxing?
Well, come to think about it, that might actually be true considering he views himself as the very definition of boxing...
All things we do, we do for ourselfs.
I am nice to you so you will be nice to me. Egosentric
You are nice to poor children in Africa because you'll feel better. Egosentric
Open your eyes, spread your vision and way of thinking so that you can see things under the surface.
As we all know, the surface is easy to paint and make shiny.
I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong. Just don't be too eager to deal out death and judgement before you have scratched under the surface...Comment

granted, but check me out real quick.. many many many fighters cried out of being proud of themselves, Trinidad is one who especially gets emotional after significant fights and that doesn't reflect no mental breakdown he's just passionate about what he does, he's overwhelmed with his accomplishment and reacts accordingly, tears of joy if you will, doesn't exactly seem like a breakdown to me. retiring? well a lot of people did that very same thing, they retire and come back almost instantly, Trinidad came back from retirement, Morales wanted to come back, plenty of other people did it too, it was just one of those things to keep the people talking, obviously he doesn't want to fight all his life but he DOES love the sport and the sport DOES need him so of course he's going to come back, it's only right that he cements his legacy with this kind of fight to go out on top for real, still don't see the breakdown..Plenty of things. Some of them overt, some of them subtle.
Many of them well known.
Crying, Retiring, hating the media/loving the media, claiming people who clearly do not like or appreciate him are his fans, the absolutely weird and pathetic **** he's said to opponents, the current (new) war with his father, mood swings and changes in behavior, ect.
Maybe we haven't seen all of, or the same, interviews.
He's made many comments and statements that I find troubling, puzzling, and revelatory within various context.
everyone hates the media at one point but he's shown he's well aware that no publicity is bad publicity so while yes him being a proud man may sometimes make him take certain things personal and react angrily he still knows the media is the gateway for him to the world, nobody is always in the mood to have a camera in their face ya dig so I can understand that but he loves being #1 and he knows that if those cameras are in his face it's because he gave them a good reason to be, still no breakdown. a lot of people don't like him, his fans are supportive and he has made more reference to that than anything else he just claims that people in general (which is true) always pit some big ass challenge as the one to beat the champ yet when he out classes them they bash him, meanwhile it's those very same bashers who hyped the fight up they just didn't get to see him lose, it was the same problem Ali and Roy Jones Jr had, I still don't see no breakdown..
that pathetic **** he be saying is to promote the fight, it's like he said "nobody wants to hear a fight say hi how are you, you're gonna beat me, I'm gonna lose" they want to see bravado, they want to see a ***** grab his **** and say "I'm the man", thats the type of **** that generates hype but at the end of every fight all you see is a full of class sportsman who carries GREAT respect for his craft, breakdown?? he never had nothing against his pops, he gets personal with his life because people want to know who he is but even in 24/7 he made it abundantly clear that he loves his father and welcomes him to any event regarding Floyd Mayweather Jr, there's always a spot for him but it's his father doing the crazy **** like telling Oscar he thought he won after his son put on a clinic, doesn't sound like a breakdown just sounds like he had himself the case of a bad father, no breakdown there..
you would have to be a corpse to ALWAYS be the same way, nobody in this green earth stays in the same mood, it's not a mood swing it's being human, anything other than that is just smart marketing, giving the people reason to speak his name, these guys aren't dummies man every move is premeditated so if he comes out wailing best believe he knew before hand what was about to go down, sometimes a man can just get tired of **** too you know it doesn't mean he's breaking down but even the #1 pound for pound champion of the world gets tired of ****, maybe he DOES get a mood swing here and there but there's a lot on his plate, he holds his composure very well though so I really don't see no mental breakdown.. I took everything you said into consideration and again I respect your opinion but this is just something we don't agree on which is cool, this was just my 2 cents but all due respect to you and your opinion.. 100Comment
