Any boxer that has to say to the media: "I've stood toe to toe with guys," is a boxer that knows that he really does not stand toe to toe with guys.On Ricky Hatton being a “more exciting” fighter…
FMJ: If you think punching and holding is exciting, then good for you guys. But where I’m from, the sport is called boxing. This is an art. This is a chess game. You guys loved Lennox Lewis right? He was a boxer; he played chess. That’s what I do. I take the least punishment to make the most money. I’m a smart fighter.
On going to war with Ricky Hatton…
FMJ: You’ve seen me in a war. I was in a war with Ndou. I was in a war with Jesus Chavez. You’ve seen me box on my toes. I fought toe-to-toe with DeMarcus Corley. I’ve stood toe-to-toe with guys.
On Hatton’s “dirty” tactics…
FMJ: Over in the U.S., all that dirty fighting isn’t going to fly. Over here, he gets away with a lot of bull****. He’s an extremely dirty fighter. Over in the U.S., he’s on my turf, and we call the shots. Over here, he fights in small rings and all of that. But when you come over to Vegas, there’s only one

After Castillo, his first fight was N'dou. Floyd tried to go toe to toe with N'dou and was severely pressed. I don't think his fights after N'dou are particularly noted for Floyd going toe to toe. I mean I've seen them. He has moments especially when his opponent is ready to go, but generally speaking Floyd does not go "toe to toe" at all. Ayo first of all b, Marlo punked your ass, showed up to YOUR court date and watched the beast take yo ass to jail. second of all, you're gonna tell me that you would much rather see PBF dance around the ring throwing pot shots and not taking any risk than watch shane mosley or miguel cotto or israel vasquez try to fight a smart fight but at the same time let their thirst for GLORY and PRIDE dictate the fight rather than statistics and money?Comment
