Just what I wanted to say. I can agree with everyone else on some parts. There were plenty of times where PBF could have done serious damage but choose to be on the safe side. I for one dont blame PBF but others get pissed off by this. Honestly I found his Bald DLH fight entertaining

It's called being exciting and putting on a show. If he's getting paid X amount of millions a fight at least put on a show and make it exciting. His last couple of fights...he should of pressed and tried to knock some of these guys out or at least make the fight more of a brutal domination.Comment

for the millionth time, professional boxing is a fight sport, not fencing with gloves like olympic boxing, and hitting and not getting hit requires HITTING, something mayweather refuses to do.Comment

Just to be clear you asked for an example of an exciting fight that Hatton was in, not for Hatton's best work. If you want Hatton's best work check out the Oliviera fight.Just to be clear, I asked for Hatton's best work, and was referred to the Collazo fight.
And the sport of boxing is not about hitting without being hit. It is about knocking out your opponent, it has always been about knocking out your opponent. Its history is the history of knockouts, not of points wins.Comment

Thats the whole point though isnt it? Nobody hugely loved Lennox Lewis. He never had a tenth of the popularity and adulation that Tyson had, despite a more successful career.FMJ: If you think punching and holding is exciting, then good for you guys. But where I’m from, the sport is called boxing. This is an art. This is a chess game. You guys loved Lennox Lewis right? He was a boxer; he played chess. That’s what I do. I take the least punishment to make the most money. I’m a smart fighter.
People want to see excitement and they want to see knock outs. The general public are rarely after tactical masterclass displays of defence. Lewis was massively underappreciated during his career for this very reason and he was in MANY more wars than Mayweather and got beat and came back a couple of times too (I'm not saying that Mayweather needs to lose to be appreciated by the way, I'm saying that Lewis did so and wasnt fully appreciated, so Mayweather is unlikely to get the appreciation he seems to crave).Comment
