My money is on I have watched more Tszyu fights than you, and I didn't say it was impossible I said it was improbable. How much would you like to bet.Comment

That's fine. Judging by your comments you dont know about his style then. Did you know that Tszyu beat Vernon Forrest in the amateurs? Did ya? I know this has no relevance, but it is proving the point that Tszyu can outbox the seemingly faster, taller fighter with more 'ring smarts'.
Forrest > Mayweather at any weight, including 140 which is where he started out (I'm guessing you dont know that either
)
Anyway - look into his style some more.Comment

I really hope you are saying Forrest at the peak of his skills at 140 fighting Mayweather with all his skills at 140 would go to Forrest, and not, the 140 Floyd vs. the 140 Forrest goes to Forrest.That's fine. Forrest had like 10 fights or less at 140... Vernon "The Rookie" Forrest would have gotten destroyed.
HOWEVER, I think Forrest vs. Mayweather would be an incredibly sweet matchup in the sense of boxing supremacy... but I would be worried sick about Floyd losing to be honest, I think Vernon has the best chance. I guess I can take comfort that I like Vernon a lot too. It will never happen though... Vernon = too big for Floyd at this stage of his career I think.Comment

Casamayor, Frietas (wasn't really Mayweather's fault), Mosley (again wasn't Mayweather's fault, he ran his mouth for no reason just as conveniently Mosley started to move up in weight), Winky (he really has no business in with the Winkster but he shot his mouth), Margarito, Judah. Cotto. Mosley at 147.
Im sure there are more fighters I am missing. That is all I got for you.
Only reason why people are tough on him is because he is the self proclaimed 'mr. invincible'. If he minded his own business like Hatton, we wouldn't expect him to fight the top competition every fight.
I mean he went through a horrible stretch for a WHILE now. Up until Oscar he has fought tons of chumps.
I am going off of pure memory here:
N'dou, Bruseles, Gatti, Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir.
I mean for self proclaimed "money" Mayweather.
Extremely weak. That was a weak set of 3 years. Boxing fans are finally privileged to see him in some good fights. For 3 years we saw nothing but ****e and false promises.Last edited by Azteca; 09-27-2007, 09:25 PM.Comment

Forrest would beat Mayweather at any weight in my opinion. Floyd would get soundly 'outboxed'.I really hope you are saying Forrest at the peak of his skills at 140 fighting Mayweather with all his skills at 140 would go to Forrest, and not, the 140 Floyd vs. the 140 Forrest goes to Forrest.

now how about you list the last couple of tszyu or hatton fightsCasamayor, Frietas (wasn't really Mayweather's fault), Mosley (again wasn't Mayweather's fault, he ran his mouth for no reason just as conveniently Mosley started to move up in weight), Winky (he really has no business in with the Winkster but he shot his mouth), Margarito, Judah.

Tszyu beating forrest does not mean Tszyu beating Mayweather, only a rookie would not realize styles make fights. Tszyu would not outsmart Mayweather nor would he outbox him, UD plain and simple. I would put all my points on it.That's fine. Judging by your comments you dont know about his style then. Did you know that Tszyu beat Vernon Forrest in the amateurs? Did ya?
