    Wiley,

The fact that you aren't giving me a specific answer to

    1) when you started to watch boxing, and

    2) which Mayweather fights you have ACTUALLY seen

...is making be believe that this is your first year in boxing. I did notice before that you never talk about older fights. For anybody.

Mayweather has had good moments of offense and "always running" is an overstatement. I don't think that's quite what I meant. If it sounds like backtracking here, maybe it is a little bit. Let me put it as simply as I can. IMO Floyd wins his fights by not getting hit, and unless he sees a SAFE opportunity to take out an opponent, he is perfectly content with pointing his way to victory. Without getting into an analysis of the details of his style, IMO this is my take on Floyd. Not saying he's never gone toe to toe, but he's primarily a defensive boxer.

oK....now my wife is bugging me to come to bed...I think I will....gn to all.

If you really are a first year boxing fan, I'm certainly not going to give you **** about it... it can make 2 in our club. I try my hardest not to talk **** on boxers that I haven't seen (ie the Hatton-Collazo fight).

I'm embarrassed to say that I still haven't seen the following boxers ever fight:

        Shane Mosley
        Kermit Cintron
        John Ruiz
        Sultan Ibragimov
        David Diaz
        Juan Diaz

But I'm still trying to learn.

I hope you aren't criticizing him for this. This is the reason he is undefeated and P4P #1... you will never see Mayweather get knocked out because he gets too wreckless in the ring, and there is something to be said for that.

For real though, N'dou through Mitchell in Mayweather's career were among the most exciting fights I have ever seen.

Other way around because I'm being forced to pick one of them in the Final Four.

I am from the school that says that boxers beat punchers... and I know enough about Shane Mosley that he can probably outbox Cotto, so that's my incredibly uninformed logic that went into making that pick.

You'd be surprised how many users have only watched their favorite fighter.

Juan Diaz is fun to watch. Instant recognition talent.

This isn't even close to his best ****:

I think that is the result from people watching a big ppv fight and getting interested in boxing and finding a forum to talk about their new favorite boxer. Nothing wrong with that, its just when someone like said tries to act as if they've followed boxing for 20 years.
