    @.Mik...

I don't respond to posts that utilize contextomy, while omitting the meat of an argument. It is fallacious and merely a rhetorical stratagem. I've provided my citations as to why you're wrong/confused, explained my intent, and addressed you appropriately. The fact that your pride won't allow you to accept the obvious, once presented to you, is a testament to your stubborness and ineducable state of stagnation. This discussion will end here. Have a nice day.

floyd is ****y and charismatic a modern-day Ali type of fighter in the press conferences. It's what sells and what gets people talking, he's also going to rip Hatton apart.

That **** is pretty funny. Ricky is making these press conferences enjoyable in a different way than press conferences are usually made enjoyable.

              Mik,

If hatton had NOT made the comments after the castillo fight, or to the British press, or produced his little video, then I would have been ABSOLUTELY on board with his stance at the presser.
I would have said that ricky just elected to take the high road. Cheers to him.

But you can't START talking shyte from afar, and then get the dry-mouth when the guy is in front of you challenging you to repeat it.

              Doesn't work that way.

Then he started talking about the rumors that he drinks a lot, and he said "I don't know where all the rumors come from" and he was in the ring holding a bottle of vodka in his boxing glove.

It's funny that he's not taking this too seriously, and the pics of Hatton and Mayweather at the conference are hilarious.
I said from the beginning of this that if Floyd tried to pull of his usual games Hatton would end up gaining the favor of a lot of the more astute boxing fans (ie not the ones who love Floyd cos he's all ****** and find his antics about money to be hilarious) and its seeming that way. If it continues like this, I cant imagine Floyd will have a plan B and he'll either look ****** for carrying on with the same old schtick when it obviously isnt working, or he'll resign to shutting up, thus admitting his mind-games defeat.

                      Bottom line:

Ricky, as a man who owns up to what he says and does, should have no problem expressing that he meant what was said by actually saying it in person. Since he did not, he didn't own up to what he said on video tape, either rendering him a coward or a clown. He either is scared to confront what he said or thinks, or he didn't mean it to begin with. Again, either he is a coward or a clown, pick your poison..
