You know how I judge the wits of a boxer? IN THE RING.
You know how I judge the wits of a footballer? ON THE PITCH.

Again, there was no 'meat' to omit. All I omitted was the superfluous junk that was getting more and more away from the point. The point being that your analysis of the situation was incorrect. Whether or not that was a psychological or communicative issue is entirely irrelevant (though your justification of why you think it is not psychological is nonsense. But as that is something that you are compelled not to agree with me over, whereas I know that you are wrong, there is no resolution to that digression). You concluded from Hatton having his hands in his pockets, that he was afraid of Mayweather. If you can find anything from body-language experts that backs up this deduction, I bet I can find much MUCH more that disagrees with you and further states that Mayweather's agitation and the awful non-fluency features of his speech and his body language gave as much if not more of an indication of his own nerves/fear.@.Mik...
I don't respond to posts that utilize contextomy, while omitting the meat of an argument. It is fallacious and merely a rhetorical stratagem. I've provided my citations as to why you're wrong/confused, explained my intent, and addressed you appropriately. The fact that your pride won't allow you to accept the obvious, once presented to you, is a testament to your stubborness and ineducable state of stagnation. This discussion will end here. Have a nice day.
Maybe its different over here than it is over there, but when someone is in your face and is trying to antagonise you, laughing in his face is pretty much the most insulting and inflammatory thing that you can possibly do. The laughter is encouragement bordering on ridicule, the hands in the pockets suggests that Hatton is non-confrontational but in no way sees Floyd as a threat. I've no doubt that Hatton will repeat his criticisms of Floyd in front of the man himself, but this was by no means the opportunity to do so.Mik,
If hatton had NOT made the comments after the castillo fight, or to the British press, or produced his little video, then I would have been ABSOLUTELY on board with his stance at the presser.
I would have said that ricky just elected to take the high road. Cheers to him.
But you can't START talking shyte from afar, and then get the dry-mouth when the guy is in front of you challenging you to repeat it.
Doesn't work that way.Comment
