Do you remember when Antonio Margarito was talking **** and asking for the mayweather fight? And then there was a video of Tony walking up to Floyd and asking for the fight in person? I respect that. Be a man.

Floyd once said that he was the greatest of all time. I disagree, but fine. That is what Floyd feels. At the Hall of Fame dinner, PBF went up to SRL and told Ray to his face that he would have beaten him.

What ricky hatton did was against every man-code ever written. You don't trash-talk a guy behind his back, and when the guy confronts you, you go mute. I'm not telling ricky to throw a punch at Floyd. But at least man up a wee bit.

I'm from a latino culture, and we are sometimes criticized as being overly macho. But where I grew up, you would be endlessly ridiculed for backing down publicly that way. You can't tuck your tail between your legs the way ricky did. Not a good look.

Ahahaha, man code. This wasnt a public debate or speaking context. There is no reason for Hatton to throw insults around at something like this, plus there isnt really an opportunity unless you want to come across as a stuttering gimp like Floyd did. Hatton isnt into dreadful half-arsed put-downs, and showboating. He'll get on with the job. Put him in an interview situation where someone asks if he thinks that Floyd is a runner and he'll say that he thinks that Floyd is a not especially exciting fighter who works on the back-foot...(which is pretty much all he has ever said) whether Floyd is there or not.

He has no hatred of Floyd and he doesnt pretend to do so, Floyd probably doesnt or Ricky either...he has to fake it, which is much worse. Hatton just thinks that Floyd is a clown and you laugh at clowns, which is what Ricky did.
