RJJ would have dominated that division at least twice as good as Hagler did. I don't think he would even be touched at that division because he was just as fast, and just as strong as he was in the higher divisions.

P.S. I would have to hit your avy from the back.

Roy was dying to make that weight by 1993; he was a middleweight the same way Charles and Moore were; he started there but could not blossom there. Roy would have been a light heavy in any era.

Monzon simply does not have enough votes here. His comp was arguably better (as champion...actually more than arguably) than Hagler's and his reign was greater. Beating Valdez as the end, twice, is amazing stuff. People jock Hagler-Mugabi and Mugabi wasn't in jock range of Valdez. Napoles, Benvenuti, Griffith, valdez, and Briscoe is a hell of a run.

Yeah Marvin Hagler is the greatest middleweight of all time.

Robinson was best as a welterweight. Its easy to see.

Hagler was great, Monzon was better.

                    Monzon for me.

it's very close, between haggler and robinson could be a toss-up but
haggler was the most consistent pressure fighter
