tey said that at the end . when right after they traded. thesame happened with dlh-maywheater . the last round , the last minutes always leaves a great impression and you kinda forget the whole fight. that fight was a technical top skilled fight . 2 fighters that with a lot of experience kinda neutralize each other.if you understand the fight game , and watched it a lot , you would be impressed too with rampage controlling a 2 time olympic wrestler

What i WASNT impressed with was how they punched like amatuers, and traded blows like very low level professional boxers.

People imagine the UFC is some kind of enemy.

Also, they overlook how boxing has improved, how the media explosion has brought us more access, and in general how this is the best time ever to be a boxing fan, and they instead long for some mythical past when everyone followed the fights. And somehow the popularity of UFC seems a problem to them, though it has little to do with boxing as we get to see it

Kids don't realise that due to Internet boxing is getting more and more popular, never did boxing get so much coverage at any time as now.

Oh and there is enough place in the market for both Boxing and MMA because essentially, these are two completely different products.

they both punch hard. and swung at times , henderson has an awkward style . and that frustrated quinton a bit. quinton ko'd cyril abidi in K1 who Ko'd botha so quinton is no amatur and neither is hendo in the striking department. and with those gloves someone can get ko'd any time . was pretty exciting tough

I like both sports, there is a big enough market for both sports to flourish and coexist with one another while still making a ton of money. Oh wait that IS what is going on right now.

Cyril Abidi isn't much of a conquest though.

Same with Botha who had his title yanked days withing winning it for pissing hot.

Anyways MMA is discussed here because it's the fastest growing fightsport. The reason boxing fans respond to the UFC perhaps negatively is all the open challenges Dana White has made (MMA rules). The endless comparisons the commentators make ie, Goldberg 'You know Roy Jones respects the hands of Randy Couture'. It gets silly.
