Why is mma discussed so much in this boxing forum.???

wrong again , what you say happens in every sport , theres a rivalry between Real madrid and barcelona in soccer, rivalry between barrera and morales , rivarly between wanderlei silva and rampage jackson etc etc etc.... but i really don't know of any rivalrys between sports like .. soccer, basketball , football ,.... its just with boxing , boxing fans have the urge to constantly bash it because the media portrays mma as the next big great thing and it will surpass boxing and this and that....

And theres at LEAST 50 videos on youtube where a guy is just hating on boxing for 5-10 minutes. theres like none from boxing fans, and if there is its only as a response to those MMA videos.

In reality it is the fans of televised streetfighting who are polluting boxing websites. I never wanted to talk about that crap but the pro-streetfighting propaganda was becoming too in-your-face and too annoying to ignore. The management of this website ought to ban any mention of that crap but sadly they are bowing down to the pressure of the moment.

Boxing is having a REALLY slow month, MMA just had there biggest fight of the year last night... why in the world would they be talkin boxing?

see, right now we CAN insult UFC cause last night ****** badly and apparently that main event was great...

When Boxing is great, nobody has anything to possibly complain about, cause when boxings great EVERYONE thinks its great

that main event wasn't great , it wasn't bad . silva - henderson , silva-jackson , those fights are great . fight last night was not the biggest fight ever. they are both former pride fighters , that fight could have happened so many times in pride . they just knocked out the 2 big dogs in silva and liddell , now silva and liddell would have been the biggest fight in MMA ever.

oh and delahoya - maywheather wasnt that the biggest fight in years??? and according to many that fight wasnt that entertaining too.... even pro boxers hated it . judah , hatton ....

Mayweather-Dlh was a bad fight, but the announcers werent calling it great.

the UFC announcers last night were callin that a great fight, and that 40+ year old guy guest commentating (couture?) also said it was a great fight
