Why is mma discussed so much in this boxing forum.???

i just dont get it . why do you guys have the urge to bash it? im also a member in sherdog , and boxing isn't even mentioned there...
this really is pathetic , if you dont like it then don't watch it . are you guys feeling insecure because mma ownes boxing in ppv figures? ?? this **** really needs to stop . stick to boxing.

if im not mistaken yankees and red fox is that baseball?? 2 teams in the same sport .... MMA AND BOXING are 2 different sports !!!! so your logic is irrelevant.

Because some boxing "fans" really only like to see knockouts and MMA has a lot of that. So someone posted one day that MMA is more fun to watch than boxing and henceforth.

there's still sort of a rivalry to it as far as fans are concerned (that's why everyone on here compares it)... i was just naming a random well-known rivalry, but hey let's take as much offense to my comment as possible, and just maybe if i put a bunch of exclamation points at the end of it, you'll understand my logic!!!

wrong again , what you say happens in every sport , theres a rivalry between Real madrid and barcelona in soccer, rivalry between barrera and morales , rivarly between wanderlei silva and rampage jackson etc etc etc.... but i really don't know of any rivalrys between sports like .. soccer, basketball , football ,.... its just with boxing , boxing fans have the urge to constantly bash it because the media portrays mma as the next big great thing and it will surpass boxing and this and that....

it annoys me that its brought up so much , i come to this site to get myself informed about boxing .... and go to sherdog for mma .
